Desktop Site (Old Sold Page) has disappeared
Has the desktop site page which displayed the old, original and, most importantly, FUNCTIONAL sold page disappeared for anyone else? Mine has, making booking couriers, seeing what has been paid for etc at a glance impossible.
It astounds me that despite all the feedback from users over the last 12 months, developers just do whatever they want and have turned this platfom into a clunky, useless relic

1. No search function
2. No ability to filter who hasn't paid
3. Sold price - includes postage so it should actually say Transaction price because it isn't the sold price!
Basically making it very difficult to match up who has paid through your bank account.
There is no way Trade Me designers and developers could do such an appalling job at designing a system. This has to be done by design to move us into getting people to turn on Ping. They have just forced Traders to do that.

I think one of the admins, developers or whoever should contact us and explain:
Why you are touching/changing something that works and that everyone is happy with?
Why don't you listen to what your users suggest.
Why do you have the worst technical support of all marketplace sites (and I have used many of them in various European countries).
Why are you so bad?
You are lucky that you have no competition in NZ, although I have heard that this will change in the near future, and when it does... you will cry for us.

This was my go-to site to see if a buyer had paid. Appalling.

If you switch over to My Products there is a sold tab that is much easier to work with. It is similar to, but slightly different than the traditional (old) sold tab. But perhaps even better. Not only are they retained much longer, you get a range of filters and a good search function. You can import your sold items into My Products. It's worth the (small) learning curve. My Products has many other functionality advantages you don't get on the standard website.

Yes me too. I have some vision issues. I could scroll and navigate the old desktop site well. The new one, with much more scrolling required, more eye movement needed to see all the text and photos everywhere just gives me eyestrain and a headache very quickly. But saying that, I do have the option to quick relist and delete in bulk and send fpo's from standard auctions. So it is good these functions have now been added. Hopefully the will be there for everyone soon.

I use My Products, so rarely go to my Sold folder, have just checked it now and still in old format, I find my products so much easier to use,
And also use an Excel work book also with all details of my sold items etc. so can keep track of Status, paid shipped, Courier Tracking Number, feedback placed etc. also, week by week, so outstanding trades easy to see to chase up, records which are required if you are Intrade and paying tax, as it is Tax records, if they are ever required,
Only have one uncompleted trade, which is out for courier now, as green box at top shows number of uncompleted trades, it is awaiting feedback, which I do after courier has picked up, as all my auctions finish this week, other things on, so they are now dwindling down,

Me too and the thing is other people i know still have access to the old site.. trade mes answer there is nothing i can do and they dont give a crap

Hello Aaron. Yes, the changes are being rolled out gradually. So some people will have switched over, and some not. Eventually everyone will be.

well that sucks big time no search of who has bought more than 1 item cant see who has paid etc etc why is your site making things so hard for people to use not happy..

samre here i had someone buy 8 acutions at once but they are all mixed up in auctions that sold over a week ago.. i cant even see what she has paid for or not paid for

Me too, I want the old desktop page back,
Trademe you already know that hundreds of us told you we wanted to keep the old page and still you change it
You need to fix the problems we told you about last time before forcing us to use the new pages
When using a PC
1. No search function
2. No ability to filter who hasn't paid

4. Cant see who has paid from the front page
5. On the new sold page if someone buys 8 auctions at once, they are all mixed up ( not in the correct date order)
6. Can't search for all sold items by one buyer
7. Can't search for unanswered questions, this is important
8. Sales are not displayed in the correct date order on sold page
9. No way to view your listings by photos
10. No where to input the courier name and tracking number

The whole site is difficult to use at the moment. You can’t do a lot of things easily. I’m getting so frustrated, it’s NOT user friendly at all. The upgrades are taking a heck of a long time to roll out. I just tried to request a success fee, Iit wouldn’t let me because of the new kp listing number. Then I had to message with a chat bot who couldn’t help me and refereed me to a team member who will contact me via email. Honestly what a total waste of time.

Some onec working in trade me think that by removing the old vision dest top site will get more sales through trade me but he or she doesn't understand we'll how its work As Today world , Facebook is more popular then trade me ,and i think the person who did the challenging chargers will not going to last long with TMe until he go back to old vision

Kia ora everyone, The ability to search a trade reference or a buyer username from your Sold folder is not available on our new look, and as as this page has been permanently updated there isn't a way to get back to our old site, I'm sorry.
You can search for a keyword like a trade reference or a username by pressing 'Ctrl + F' on your keyboard if you're on a desktop. If you're accessing our website from a mobile device, you can use the 'Find in page' option from the three dots in the top right of your browser.
If you have a large number of listings to manage, it may be best to use a listing tool like My Products. This is designed for regular listers and has the functionality to search Sold listings. You can read more about this on our My Products guide.-3 -

I cannot find a direct link from an item on mt selling pagecto My Products. This was available on the old pagr. The only option deems to be to go into the listing and edit it directly ( multiple clicks ) and this dorsnt update the original product, just the current listing0 -
Trademe, doing a permanent change is not true. If you can change it to the unusable crap it is right now.... it can be changed back or recreated to meet what sellers want. DO BETTER TM. Only a bully does what he wants and refuses to listen to people pleading for the useless changes to stop. Give sellers what we need to sell an items so can see the information all on the listing without having to do multiple clicks to open up pages just to figure out if they have paid. NOT HAPPY WITH TM

The more time sellings have to spend onsite, costs TM and their website hosts more bandwidth
The more time sellings spend on sorting sales, costs sellers more wages etc for doing the same exact job that we did 5 years ago.
Most of the "new look/ Mobile" website changes make no real sense when it comes to productivity0 -
HI Michelle, I am David's wife and I have had to step in and help him get the buyers purchases sorted because of the new changes which are too time conusuming for him to now sort himself. I seriously can see that Trademe is not considering the difficulties the seller is having with these changes. Has Trademe forgotten that their revenue actually comes from the seller who pays the fees, NOT the buyer who simply pays the seller. If selllers give up because its too hard, Trademe loses their income. Perhaps the software programmer should list some items on trademe themselves and experience what actual sellers experience on the real website instead of their test website. From experience, the more you sell on trademe the harder it is to use, trying to marry up multiple purchases is a nightmare now and unnecessary time consuming.

Sold something this morning and there is no place to record the courier name and tracking number, how stupid TM, have added that to the list of problems

When sending a fixed price offer, I cannot see who I offer it too on the new Look site,
It was convenient on the old desktop site, as so many potential buyers leave items on their watchlist forever and a day and after half a year I don't bother to send FPOs out any longer. Now I have no idea...
and this is obviously not a function I can do on My Products either.
Ohhhh, just bring the old desktop site back pleaseeeee

Hello Badger. You can absolutely do this on My Products. You can filter all your items so you can see which have current active FPOs. You can then further dive into them by clicking the link to see how many people you have offered it to, and their names.

flossy63 Community SuperuserTo add to Callums post above, If your products are activated when they close, they will automatically send out a Fixed price offer, and yes you can see who the offers have gone out to,If your auctions have been deactivated in My Products before they close, no fixed price offer will go out, Offers need to be done manually, so it does not help, as yes you are back to square one,I know where you are coming from even though I am still on the old format, when manually offering fixed price offers, yes you want to see who they are and screen out the bad ones, some when checking are just blacklisting material, so you save yourself a possible problem later down the track,as at moment all my auctions are deactivated as finish this weekend for a break, so yes I am manually offering FPO's checking feedback of watchers I have not seen before,2

Actually, i believe that My Products only sends out FPOs if gou have a minimum of the same items. If you have only one it does not send FPOs.
