Strange things happening eg. unsold listings disappearing
My family has two Trademe sites and on both of them things have gone very wrong. For example, sold items do not appear as sold (we did get an email). Unsold items just disappear. We have lost numerous listings and cannot relist them.
I have contacted Trademe but have not yet heard anything.

Listings are gradually being moved to the new system category by category, if you scroll to the bottom of your screen you may see a black box with Desktop & Mobile - selecting the Mobile links through to the New system where your goods should display.
Example:

This is working. But sellers should have been informed of this. There is nothing under Announcements that I can see.

I agree too. At the very least they should update the help files.
It's so counter-intuitive. Why would anyone think to hit a small button that says "mobile" on the bottom of a page when they are on a Desktop computer in order to see their missing items?

Same problems here with not showing up items sold.
They are also flicking between Desktop & Mobile when using a mobile.
Far too many problems and heads must roll.
Very unprofessional and not user friendly.

Interesting. I have a different issue. When I try to relist multiple unsold listings an error message comes up saying something like "Cannot relist. You must enter shipping details for each listing". Yet, these have shipping already selected (and correct). If I go 'Quick Relist' on just one listing, it relists immediately. Go figure. Have reported several times to TradeMe, but no responses, other than things like "Our system is being updated. A few minor issues have bgen reported. Try using MyProducts".
Howold above is right. This is a major issue. Someone needs to realise that and get it sorted.3 -
Nope Callum. Even after I relist individually after checking shipping is activated, the next time they expire I still cannot bulk relist. I saw that this is now reported as a 'Confirmed Bug' so finally TM has acknowleged an issue. THanks for sharing your thoughts though

Thanks for that. If you haven't yet looked into My Products like Michelle mentioned it's worth checking out. It can automate all your relisting and FPO functions, so it's just set and forget. All is working well on that system, and it has other advantages also.

Why do you always suggest the same fixes when it is obvious from all these messages that TM is terribly unfriendly and people are hurting to use it. Things disappearing and as one said, why would I change to the bottom of the screen to go on mobile version when I am on a desktop. I have been asking when it will be sorted and yet weeks later people are still having the same issue. If you have to update why not sort it before you make it go live. Telling people to clear cache or whatever when it is TRADEME the issue and not people's settings! Get it sorted and then you won't have to answer all these frustrated people.
Talking of frustration I have sold two items and neither trader can pay me through PING (this is a new problem I have not had before). They have paid to our bank account for the cost to send but can not pay for the item itself through PING as Trademe requires. Please tell me how to fix it. thanks

No! Members can no longer pay for Ping purchases using their Bank accounts - All reference to this is for pre-existing arrangements Only, before Bank account payment methods were removed from the site. - I have queried this and requested the wording be included within the references to make it clear - I noted last week this has still not been updated and it's very mis-leading. - Cheers.
