AJ, if you are old enough you will know and recall a Cash Register has to open, hence we had 1, 2 and 5 cents. PING will be no different as it's a form of Cash Register. It likely is because the software used by those doing updates is not compatible to current legislative requirements in NZ. Have a read also of the decision relating to Revolut in Italy + Lithuania that came out recently, there's a requirement to have a Licence to operate in other countries. Hope that helps with understanding possible scenarios. Please also nip it in the bud about conspiracies as it's unsolicited.
Keyword in relation to Non-Delivery is in the first sentence, " You 'May' be eligible... " It doesn't say you won't be so it is misleading to say items are not covered by NZ Post as it's in there own Terms and Conditions and incorporated into NZ Postal Services Legislation. New Zealand Post have traditionally been very helpful when items may have gone astray in the system. It's a known fact they used to have a problem with some staff in sorting rooms stealing cash and cheques out of envelopes, including from Charities in earlier times, now we are all paying the price for the minority. Ther...
Is this related to PING Payments perhaps and the paying 0.01 cents into those who use PING accounts? We have had occasions were we are getting pop ups telling us the amount of our Fixed Price Offers 'must' be less than the 'Buy Now" price which raises questions as to who is actually in charge of our information. Is it us as Consumers, or is it Trade Me? There needs to be clarification as to what exactly is Trade Me, and can they legally have such a control over it's users like this. Maybe some budding Legal students may like to take this on board along with other matters of questions aske...
Keith, it would be good if we could all do that. Another alternative is to go back to pen & notebook Leger style with a description of the items and details of purchaser. Sometimes those tried and true Paper based systems are more cost efficient as one doesn't need to log on to a computer, not worry about power outages or flat batteries trying to access accounts. Another option is to keep a USB dusk and itemise and detail sales that way, alas you will have to update it as you go..
Wow, Michelle, does this mean that a buyer can have up to 90 days to pay for items? If so, which categories does that apply to? Or is it for all payments/ transactions? That's alarming to read.
We have had the same problems as wally1966, not been able to rotate photos or edit them. It's a pain in the neck
Gosh AJ, you should know what survey it is that was done as oft discussed in here and as a Community Superuser must know if there's been Consumer related Survey's done for PING, Trademe & APAX partners. We don't recall seeing or partaking in one nor can seem to locate the survey results, or Questions asked of participants. Anyone who can help source these surveys it would be appreciated so we can decide for ourselves our thoughts on them.
A tip, when you message the person, suggest a timeframe that works in with your life and if it is not workable with both parties, ask for a suggestion of an alternative mutually agreeable time. Has worked for us many a time with cash payments. It's basic 101 Customer services and humanities.
It's incompetence all around, but hey what would we users know who don't have any idea where the 'Mysterious Survey' information is.
A number of users have stated that Trade Me emails are either not been delivered or are ending up in Email Junk mail box so check there to. Guess email providers settings auto bot pick up certain keywords and are dumping them where they choose too. AI in its advancing years needs a hit on the head out the door. It's as dumb as they said it would be.
