Won an auction but not showing up on the list of won auctions
Won an auction a few days back and its not showing up on the list of won auctions. I've contacted the seller to get the details to pay them. but I cant leave feed back. and where do I get messages from? and before you say it I don't have an android or iphone

S Community SuperuserKia Ora Garth,Sorry to read you have a purchase not recorded in your Won items to reference, that is a concern.Double check the Sender email address on that automated email is TradeMe - Not the Seller.Buyers and Sellers can only communicate through Messages if both parties are using the Trade Me App version 108.2 or later and it is only available to Casual Sellers Listing general items in the Marketplace or Motors categories. - If you don't have or use one of the Apps at all, no iPad or Tablet either, then Messaging won't be available between you and your Seller.When you search the Listing number on TradeMe this should pull up your closed Listing which may have the Place feedback Link in the Top portion of the Listing page.You will want to contact TradeMe staff through "Live Chat" for assistance in investigating what has happened here, you will have unique information staff will want to collect to help them with this. - If you select the Contact us Link at the very bottom of any TradeMe page the Chat Tab will Pop up in blue at the bottom right of your landing page screen.
Enter in the Chat bot which comes up once the Tab is selected - person - and you will be taken to entering your details before arriving at the window to Chat with a Real Person/Staff. - Have the Listing number entered in this window enabling staff to pull it up readily.The Live Chat manned hours weekdays are 8:00am - 6:30pm and weekends 9:30am - 4:pmStaff will also be able to discuss that Feedback with you if there is no Link in the closed Listing page. - Cheers.0 -
The "Next steps" at the top left of the closed listing page (underneath the total), that has the link feedback isn't there. The page just hasn't generated properly after the auction ended. Its a "feature" that might need a patch

So if the person doesn't have the app, the option to send the message to that person will still be there? So it's a hit and miss if they get it?
I had a quick look and I couldn't find any refence for messages in the API

Yes! TradeMe staff are aware the Feedback link is missing for a small number of Listing categories so hopefully a fix resolve isn't far off now. - I've not heard of the Listing not making it to the Won folder before though, that is a concern - Cheers.

If one doesn't have the App messages can't be used between Seller & Buyer.
Both Seller & Buyer need to have Messages enabled to connect to each other so if one doesn't have it they can't be messaged by the other.

Yes, I have had a won item from a month ago that has been mentioned before that does not appear at all in my won items page on the old site, but does appear on the new site and the android app, although it also does not have the usual options on the won item page, nor in the auction itself, so no ability to place feedback. This was one of the new KP- reference number ones.

I won an auction and it is not showing on my won list. This has been paid for and collected but I do not see it on my won list and also have not been asked to give feedback to seller or received feedback?

I won many listings with a reference in format KP-xxxxx but they do not appear in my list of won items
In fact the whole listings disappeared from view and trademe impossible obstructive help contract forms will not let me raise a case about the listing failure to be added to my list of won items. In fact trademe has failed to correctly record the auctions altogether. So I cannot see the details for payment.
Without the listing appearing in won items not only is payment information denied visibility but the ability to manage, provide feedback or make potential reports against the listing are also denied. The useless main help contact forms will not allow entry without a selection from the list of won items, which these items I won do not appear in either, (because that is the issue that is causing payment information failure it does not appear in won items list, and I suspect trademe failed to record it due to the reference number being so different).

Hi Camille, that is exactly what has happened to me. There is nothing showing at all in my won list, I am unable to provide feedback to receive it and can't report. There seem to be a few issues with the auction software. So frustrating.

The system upgrade is being completed gradually. While we can't give a definitive timeline for when the impacted features will be available, our teams are working as hard as they can to minimise disruption to users. I'll you posted with any updates.
Good advice here from S, the team on live chat can help out if you're having trouble getting in touch with buyers or sellers or if you're having difficulty with listings.

I am in the same boat as Cam above. The contact us page is a looping waste of time. Please can I have email or phone number so i can talk to a human to resolve an issue with a corrupt and time wasting seller.
Nobody wants to sift around a community page or talk to a chat bot, everyone here has the same problem and there isn't actually any useful help available.
Very very bad system!

Kia ora Robert, I can see you emailed in yesterday someone from the team will get back to you. Sorry we don't have a phone number to call anymore, but if you want to speak to a person through live chat you can type 'talk to a person', you can also request a callback. The live chat bubble is a blue speech bubble at the bottom right of the screen.
