Unfortunately you can't place multiple feedbacks when buying, but you can when selling, at least you can on the std desktop site sold page anyway. It might be quicker and easier to place one or two feedbacks, then send the seller a quick email saying thanks very much for the lovely items that arrived today. I have placed a couple of feedbacks but unfortunately I can't easily place many feedbacks so thought I would write to say thank you :) I get emails like that quite often and they are always understood & appreciated.
Not quite sure where you want to get rid of the product from Dale. Where is it that you want to get rid of it from? Items disappear from your items I won page after 45 days, but feedback stays forever unless you ask the seller to delete it. If it's somehow stuck on your watchlist, have you tried to delete it, although it should disappear by itself when it closes and moves to your items I lost folder. If it's somehow stuck in one of these folders, you may need to contact Trademe and ask them to have a look for you.
No particular models, but something like a Honeywell PC42, TSC DC2700, Zebra GK420, Datamax DMX series. If buying 2nd hand, make sure you see a test print and pay attention that there are no missing vertical lines in the machine direction as this usually means the printhead is damaged and the printhead often costs half the price of a new printer. If there are missing lines, barcodes may not be readable. These style printers usually take rolls of 250-300 100 x 150mm labels.
Yes, the problem still pops up from time to time. You often see part email addresses in the phone number section of the buyers address, which is a giveaway fields have not correctly been parsed.
I didn't think Trademe had 2 step auth? I've never seen it. Have been seeing a captcha on the help pages here lately, but I just ignore it and refresh the page or go back and it goes away.
If you don't specifically set a reserve price James, then the start price becomes the reserve. If you really want to complete your listing the way you want it, then you could withdraw the listing and start again, or remove any bids on it, adjust price to add a reserve price, and away you go. Of course anybody that has currently bid may get a bit miffed, but if you explain in your relisting that you didn't understand how it worked, most people would accept your explanation and bid again, or make an offer for you to peruse.
Offers are designed to be used when there is a "hidden" reserve price that is higher than the start price, either with or without a Buy Now option. Then bidding can go along merrily, but until the reserve price is met the item is not "sold" and offers are valid to be either accepted, or traditionally via Q & A used to change the Buy Now price.
Tasha, if you book before 9am, you get to choose same day pickup. Not sure if it happens like that as I always have stuff going that's been booked from the previous day so the courier is coming anyway. The cut off time in your listings really means, if you order before my cut off time I will book courier for collection. You of course can not control when the courier actually arrives to collect.
Yes, it sure is a pain. I have 3 requests awaiting replies going back to the oldest 5 days ago and I don't know if any are now resolved as I have no idea what my original request was. If I knew what they were about I could click on of the miriad of links in them to notify the CS staff. Looks like I'll have to keep a log of the requests and allocated numbers myself from now on.
