Robster, on the other hand, using feedback accumulated while In Trade does not reflect possible feedback when trading as a personal seller when obligations and laws apply differently. In a scenario of a problem where the buyer goes back to the seller who is showing as In Trade who then claims they are Not In Trade, therefore the laws don't apply. That would be false representation as the buyer could have chosen to buy from an In Trade member for the better protection the law offers vs private sales. The same thing could cause problems with the IRD who have a team looking on Trademe for memb...
Much the same as they don't identify the same in descriptions. I have a fav search that shows over 3500 listings with contact details in them right now, but do Trademe do the same thing.....no. In most cases, it's repeat offenders that do it month after month, year after year despite weekly CW reports.
The seller will have set it up that way, so you need to ask them. Many sellers put in a zero to combine option in the shipping section, but if there is nothing there you have to ask the seller a question.
Easy answer, you can't. Afterpay is not available with the cart and it's always been this way. You need to do them individually. Ping can be used on the cart though.
I presume banyan when you say 1ha to unlimited you mean the Any selection in the 2nd size filter box. I would recommend NOT to use that as there is no explanation as to what it covers and results are un-intuitive ie search for 3Ha to any and I get 465 results, but search for Any to 3Ha and you get 27471 results. Not what I would expect and not what you get when you reverse the sizes in other selections eg 3-5 vs 5-3 gives the same number. Numbers seem to work ok for me in the search though eg with no other filters set at all... 1-5 931 results 1-8 1034 1-250 1199 1-3 726 3-5 206 incidentall...
thisandthat3, you need to contact the seller and if the seller is not replying to you, file a dispute with Tradme by clicking in to the listings else and look for Dispute resolution or go the help page to do with Dispute resolution and fill in the details on the form. They may be able to help or spur the seller on to make contact if you are having trouble making contact. Obviously what you want to happen and what is legally required of the seller will vary based on if they are In Trade or not eg if the Fair Trading Act and Consumer Guarantees Acts apply.
rolleiboy, the help page on the site that you clicked on the FPO page is the std help page. Trademe don't dynamically change the pages and links depending on promotions etc as those promotions are only offered to some members, not all. The link in the email you received takes you to the specific page for the promotion offer in the email. TM have now confirmed anyway, but hopefully the info helps for the future. All the best...
Rollieboy, that page you reference is the std T & C page, so yes, unless there is a fee free promotion the success fee is charged. It specifically mentions on the promotion page Callum and I posted and linked to, that under the promotions a success fee IS NOT charged for fixed price offers.
Section 2 is what you are looking for and it does mention the promotion applies to FPOs. I marked the section in bold. 2. Success Fee Discount: A "Success Fee Discount" is where Trade Me offers to reduce the normal success fee applicable under Trade Me's fees page in relation to any specified item or items found in Trade Me's general items marketplace and includes (a) where Trade Me offers you the option to list an item with no success fee applying upon the item's sale; and (b) sales completed by Fixed Price Offer or Make an Offer.
It would normally specify in the email you received announcing the promotion and it's T & C, or you can check them out on the page below in the help pages which is also linked to from the email, to see what applies and what doesn't.
