The very first sentence in the emails is just all wrong. "Today's 10* listings matching your saved search for" 1. It's not a list of today's listings. It's a list of recently listed items, that may have been listed today, or yesterday, or some other time. It would be much better to say, Recently listed items matching your saved search for.... 2. I know there is a * after the 10, and small print at the bottom to explain further, but again, the Today's 10* listings, is just wrong. Better to say, 10 recently listed items matching your saved search for.... Today means today, this day, not yeste...
I haven't done it in a few years, but pretty sure it used to register in MP and show in the extra column, how many relists it had left on the promotion. eg feature relist 2 of 3. I always used to do a column sort by feature so I could see the ones affected easily. Hopefully things have not changed in this respect. It also used to carry over the bold option, even when the feature had ended. Not sure if it still does this, but as it's no cost, it doesn't really matter, until you come to do a sort by extras column again, and you see all the bold ones at the top. Like you say, you don't get the option to add the additional feature relist offers in MP, so you have to do it to the live listing. That has always been the only option.
Today's changes to fav search emails confuses things again. Latest marketplace listings, has been moved to the very end of the subject line, which means the subject line now starts with your search term(s). This fixes one problem, but makes sorting these emails by subject line a right mess. No idea why they didn't just put it back like it was. Above the results, it now says "Today's 10* listings matching your saved search for", rather than "Today’s listings matching your saved search for" There is now a caveat at the bottom of the email saying "*There are additional listings for your saved ...
Try this in the main search box "darfield" NOT Property. By default, TM snaps to property when you try and search for a placename, unless you are already in a specific category, which is often near impossible as you may want to search across many categories at the same time.

They seem to have mucked up membernames too. One of my saved sellers changed their membername several months ago. The saved seller email from TM shows their old membername, but when I click their listings, it shows their new name. Talk about confusing.
With so many problems, it might be best to contact Trademe. Presumably, you've done the usual logout of MP, clear internet cache, restart and log back in. Not sure what browser or device you are using, but if you have another browser, try that. After that, you can also go to the MP import/export screen and see if you can import any "missing" items from sold, unsold etc.
