Permantly archived
I want to find out which items have been permanently archived as per trademe emails

I think this is something you would need to ask Trademe about. Not sure what emails you are meaning, but I don't remember ever getting an email about something being permanently archived.

I've received 2 or 3 of these emails saying 2 or 3 items will be permanently archived unless I relist them, doesn't say which ones. The person on the chat line says I've got to get an account request from trade me. It all sounds like gobbledygook to me

That sounds like you have some unsold items that are nearing the 45 day since close time before they drop off the list and can't be relisted. Just check your unsold folder and use the Items I can relist filter to see them. Like here..

I've had these on my private account. In my case turned out to be a Trade Me error, but basically it's just telling you that unless you relist the item it will disappear from unsold so you can't relist it. I'll try to find the previous thread about it.

I'm trying to find out if any items have been archived and if so which ones

Here is a link to a thread that had some people getting these messages in error. In my case I was getting them for items that were actually listed, so couldn't possibly be "permanently archived" Anyway Trade Me had a look, and I haven't had any since.
But if your items in unsold haven't been relisted, and have been sitting there a while, that's the reason you are getting the email.

Mark. That wouldn't be possible. Permanently archived means gone. I doubt Trade Me even have a record of them. It has been this way since forever. After 45 days things disappear from won, sold, lost, unsold, etc.

Kia Ora Mark,
All Listings become archived after 45 days of the listing closing unless they are relisted although they eventually all find their way to the archives once they've surpassed that 45 days without relisting - You can apply to Access your account history which you may be able to work from to get the facts you're looking for - Perhaps if you request a Summary of your unsold items prior to the last 45 days this will give you a reasonable idea of unsold items which have been archived - the info' TM can give you is limited and without photo's or descriptions and I'm unsure how far back they can track if at all beyond the last 7 years. - TM will be able to confirm this for you - Cheers.

Have done that, waiting for the results

I use 'My products' so the relisting happens via that. If any item has been archived I haven't got a clue what it is

In this case contact TradeMe staff through "Live Chat" for assistance to see what they may be able to pull for you - If you enter in the Chat bot - Talk to person - you will be taken to entering your details before arriving at the window to Chat with a Real Person/Staff.
The manned hours weekdays are 9:30:am - 5:00pm and weekends 9:30am - 4:pm- Cheers.0 -

First time, but I just received an email too saying "You’ve got 2 expired listings in your ‘Unsold items’ folder that will be permanently archived in three days." So, I go to my unsold folder, click on Items I can relist filter, and voila, nothing there. Boy that cried wolf, but I'll just ignore it.

The last email I received mentioned an item that was on a FPO 9 days after the start of the auction

I sort of wonder if this is Trade me's way of milking a little more money out of people.

I've requested an account summary about 7 times now with no response

What's not happening for you going through to Live Chat?
Once you have gotten through you are emailed a copy of the Chat transcript which you can then reply to adding to or requesting further information.

I've got through to live chat. I've requested an account summary about 7 time up to this point starting from a couple of months ago. No reply has been received.

That's strange Mark. I have to request afterpay/paynow data at the end of each financial year for my accountant. These are not available to download directly. For me the reply and spreadsheet always comes through fairly quickly. Usually within a day or 2. This year it took 4 days which was longer than usual, but not anything to really complain about. Unless what you are asking for is not possible I'm not sure why you wouldn't be getting that.
Are you filling in the form correctly with the period you require and using the tick boxes to confirm which data you want?

My main problem is Trade me keeps sending me these emails that says unless I relist said item or items they will be permanently archived (there is a screenshot back up the page a bit similar to what I've been getting), a lot of the items are not close to 45 days old.

You posted the screenshot Callum

I've just got one of these messages for the first time after 23 years on TradeMe - most bizarre. The number of items in my "My Products" is far from the maximum it's ever been so I'm at a bit of a loss to understand what's happening here.
