How to get negative feedback removed

After selling an item I recieved no contact with the buyer after multiple emails and no reply I posted a negative feedback on their profile. I then recieved and angry email from the husband saying his wife had contacted me and to stop the ‘nonsense’. I provided the husband with emails I had sent and he later said it was an error on their part and that they would pay. Again no payment was made until I asked again and then when payment was recieved it was the wrong amount. They posted negative feedback about me and I was never rude or didn’t make contact, how do I get my negative feedback removed? I have never had a trade like this before and have never had negative feedback placed. I’m still waiting for their correct payment. 😢

Sorry to hear of your ordeal there,

As you have part payment you will have to email your person again detailing where the difference in payment is. - You can offer to refund if they are not committed to paying the extra.

Feedback can be changed once - this will require good patient communication to achieve this result though definitely worthwhile if you can achieve the desired result and may even obtain a regular customer here - misunderstandings happen. - If you are unsuccessful with this you can Dispute feedback from the buyer However this must fall within TM's Feedback policy criteria for a removal or change. The Best you can achieve meantime is to write your response to this feedback. - Communication can be the game changer here!

Hello TradeMe,

I am so sorry and stressed about putting bad and untruthfull feedback onto the wrong sellers record. I am SO SO Sorry.

I had purchased an item from a seller who didn't sent my item after paymnet and put that I had not paid or made contact. I accidentally put this on the current item I purchased ( not the same seller). I am so upset that I have really made this innocent seller look untrustworthy. Please, remove my feedback

Pip, you can go to the sellers feedback page and delete or edit the feedback you placed yourself. That takes care of things quick and easy. Note, you can only make ONE edit, but you can delete feedback at any time.
