Managing feedback as a buyer
We'll show you how to place feedback about the seller and how to edit or delete feedback.

Place feedback
Feedback can be placed up to 45 days after the listing closes.
Share your experience – just make sure it's factual and in line with our Feedback policy.
1. Select Won from My Trade Me – then selectfrom the listing.
2. Select a face and enter a comment – based on your trading experience.

1. Select Won trophy-tick from ‘My Trade Me’ profile-framed.
2. Select the listing, then select Feedback under 'Next steps'.

3. Select a face and enter a comment – then select Place feedback.
Edit or delete feedback
You can only edit feedback once. If you delete feedback, it can't be brought back.
1. Go to My Trade Me.
2. Select Won from the left menu.
3. Click anywhere on the listing to open the 'Listing detail' or 'Auction detail' page.
4. Select Feedback placed to open the ‘Update feedback’ box.
5. Edit your feedback rating and description.
6. Select Submit feedback. Your new feedback will replace your previous feedback.
If your listing doesn't have the Feedback placed option, go to the seller's feedback page to find and edit your feedback.
1. Select Won from My Trade Me, then select Feedback placed to the right of the listing.
(or, find the buyer's profile using the member profile search)
2. Find your feedback, then select delete this feedback or edit this feedback.
3. Confirm your changes.

Edit or delete feedback from the seller's feedback page
You'll need to edit feedback from the seller's feedback page if:
- it's been 45 days or longer since your trade
- the Feedback placed option isn't showing on your listing.
To get to the seller's feedback page, you can:
- Select the seller's username from your own feedback page.
- Select the seller's username from your purchase confirmation email.
- Find the seller's profile by searching with their username.
To edit your feedback from the seller's feedback page:
1. Scroll through their feedback to find the feedback you've placed.2. Select edit or remove feedback.
