How to: Transfer money out of your Ping account
PinnedWhen you’ve sold something and the buyer has paid you via Ping, you can either keep the money there or transfer it out to your bank account. To sort that transfer, add your bank account details (which will then save) and select ‘Transfer out’ from ‘Manage Ping.’ The money will be in your bank account within 1–2 business days.
You can also enable automatic transfers each time you are paid into your Ping account, or to do it manually.

Cheers Tyrone,
If you can't see the $1333. in your Ping account then Ping hasn't been paid to you - send nothing in this case - given the value of the transaction here TradeMe may be taking extra time to verify this payment from your Buyer. Hold out for TM Trust & Safety and keep an eye on your Ping account.
Once you do have the total sitting in your Ping transactions account refer to Updating withdrawal bank account.

Cheers Tyrone you're nearly there,
I would expect this transaction to appear in your bank account by Monday Evening - 2 October 2023. Being your first transaction transferring your Ping balance the process takes a little while to set up however from here manual and automatic transfer requests are processed every day at 2:45 pm. - Requests made after 2:45 pm are processed the next day. - there is the caution of a 1-2 day processing time - Cheers.

Why did the customer service send me information after my ping cash withdrawal and need my driver's license for authentication, but I never received a reply after I sent my driver's license?
It's been a week since I sent my driver's license, and all my funds have been locked up. I don't know what I should do.
I didn't get any reply from all my official contacts. I don't know if I should deliver the goods now, and the customer service hasn't replied to me yet.0 -

I like the concept of Ping as a system and it usually works very well for me. However, I paid my account fees with it last week and it shows it in transactions but TM hasn't transferred it across to my account! I am in the negative and unable to relist items. Have contacted TM Help twice but no resolution or comment as yet. Have I been scammed out of my Ping money somehow? A bit concerning and I'm missing out on potential sales. Has anybody else experienced this? Thanks

Kia Ora Geoff,
Sorry to read you're missing payments,
You can contact TM staff through "Live Chat" to enquire where this payment is - once you've selected the Contact us Link at the bottom of any TM page you need to give the landing page a count of 15+ seconds for the Chat Tab to Pop up in blue at the bottom right of your screen, there is a slight delay in this appearing.
If you enter in the Chat bot - Talk to person - you will be taken to entering your details before arriving at the window to Chat with a Real Person/Staff.The manned hours weekdays are 9:30:am - 5:00pm and weekends 9:30am - 4:pmAll the Best - Cheers.0 -
Hi S, the bot was a waste of time unfortunately, kept giving me articles to read. I'm intrigued that TM won't address the problem after my sending in 2 requests! I expect they will give me a warning for having a negative account balance soon...

I had ping option turned on by mistake and a buyer has paid via ping which came as a shock to me. Why would you use ping when it takes days to get the payment?? Why would you use ping when you have to pay a fee? This has been a learning curve for me and I will make sure that when I list things in the future, that the ping option is NOT selected.

The Trust and Safety team are withholding my Ping balance even though I have provided proof of identity and have done everything asked of me, they won't even reply to my emails. It's been 3 days now since I tried to Transfer out my Ping balance to my bank account. I should add, that at no time have I been discourteous to the staff at Trade Me, I realise they are just doing their job as best they can to protect buyers and sellers. A Google search reveals that there does seem to be a pattern with Trade Me holding onto members funds. I'm really hoping I haven't been scammed.

I would like to take the opportunity to voice my opinion on another matter and that is Ping. I really resent the ping option being forced upon users. It just adds another cost to sellers, which makes close to 12 % in total. To say this adds more safety, which Im sure it probably helps, but banks already have that in place now with recent changes, whereby accounts are verified to ensure that it’s a legitimate name and bank details. To take away the option of bank transfers is really poor by Trade Me and just adds extra costs to the seller, which are already high. To me, surely I should have the option of whether I want to accept bank transfers, not forced upon me by Trade Me.
I sincerely hope that this is reconsidered as it just adds more cost to businesses that are already struggling, we the users should have the option!

I would agree with the ping option but I just uncheck that option when I'm listing - as a private seller, I give enough to TM in success fees. But the thing I have the most issue with is that they want to send my personal phone number to a trader who hasn't made contact when applying for my success fee refund. No way jose. If the dodgy trader can't make contact, the last thing I want is them being sent my phone number. Trade Me just gets worse and worse and worse with their treatment of unwitting and innocent sellers. Without us, you'd be nothing so maybe wake the heck up and just leave things alone!
