No verification code sent to bank account

Are you wanting to use Ping to make a purchase Or set Ping up as a Seller?

We all have a Ping account, there is nothing for you to set up, Ping is part of our Membership when we sign up with the company. - Where are you at that you're looking for a code in your Bank account to verify Ping?

If you have a Ping purchase payment put on hold awaiting the code for verification, can you see the payment transaction in your Bank statement for the account you used to make the purchase from? - This will be a 4 character code placed centre of Trademe & Ping12 - if you can't find this code select the blue speech icon bottom right of most TradeMe Help pages including your Post page and follow the prompts after selecting the text box  'Verify Ping payment' - the Support team will be able to verify you and your purchase payment. - Have the Listing number & supporting ID information ready to respond with. - This is just an added security check to ensure it was actually you who made the payment. - All the Best.

thank you for your suggestions. For example, I wish to use ping to make a purchase. I have a zero ping balance but I can use ping to pay directly from my bank account, Correct?   The bank acc I want to use has to be verified. 

To verify the account I am to receive a 4 digit code in my bank statement. I am to simply enter the code and I'm away. Unfortunately I cannot purchase anything via ping unless I verify the account. I have not been sent a code.

If you have cash credit in your Trade Me account that may be able to work.

The main thing to remember as a buyer now is obligations where required to to pay fees that sellers used to pay.

Note that Trade Me sellers have to pay a percentage fee if paid using PING and that is taken out of our balance.

It's a tad messy to say the least

TradeMe account funds are solely used for paying account fee's like Listing fees, promotional extra's, Success fees, HVL & Book a Courier etc. These funds can't be used to make purchases. Where codes are missing for payment verification set up a staff member can manually verify with the Member. - Cheers.
