DESKTOP SITE GONE TRADE ME DONT WANT TO HELP
I have lost access to the desktop site when I get hold of trade me they say they don't care and nothing they can do and keep trying to force me to use the new site which is hopeless for sellers and so annoying to use.. my sold list doesn't even make sense I go to sold and something i sold today (16/10) is half way down the page between stuff i sold last Friday???? I did a survey on people i knew and other traders and out of 20 people 18 of them still had access to the old desktop site how is this fair???
defiantly forcing us to make the change so they get more $$ in fees

Hello Aaron. The changes are being rolled out gradually. So some traders will have moved over the new system, and some won't have yet. Eventually though, everyone will be on the new system.
If you would like to have a more "traditional" look to your sold page, and a cleaner / faster way of creating listings check out Trade Me's free listing tool My Products.

Do you have a particular issue with My Products Aaron? Most people I know who change over wish they had done so years ago. There are some experienced members on here who use it. So feel free to reach out if you are having an issue with it.

I've also lost access to the desktop version. The new layout is horrific, and thats putting it nicely. Even when I click to view my sold items, there is no ability to sort them in order of most recent sales. The item on the top of the list closed 7 days ago, the second item closed yesterday. Any web designer with an ounce of intelligence would provide an option to sort. Currently there is no sort option, only an option to list items which closed within 24hrs, 7days, 45days, etc.

Desktop Site (Old Selling Page) has disappeared
Yes, My Products is useful, I used to use the (Old Desktop) Selling Page to check my watchers and alter auctions to suit - simple 1 click process using the MP direct link. Alas no more on the new selling page.

The whole site is difficult to use at the moment. You can’t do a lot of things easily. I’m getting so frustrated, it’s NOT user friendly at all. The upgrades are taking a heck of a long time to roll out. I just tried to request a success fee, Iit wouldn’t let me because of the new kp listing number. Then I had to message with a chat bot who couldn’t help me and refereed me to a team member who will contact me via email. Honestly what a total waste of time.

Kia ora everyone, we are gradually making changes to the site which will make it easier for us to introduce new tools and features to make the site better. While this is happening some features are temporarily unavailable for some listings. You can use 'Tell us what you think' near the bottom of Trade Me pages to give us feedback. In the mean time My Products is unaffected and as Callum mentioned it makes managing listings a lot easier, you may want to give it a go. There's lots of help here on Community if you need it.

The loss of the Website version is very very annoying. The new layout is terrible. I need to be able to see all info at one time. Such as have they paid, which shipping option did they pick, I need notes so I can write shipping info. I can't even post bulk feedback. And the mobile app is so buggy with the worst being the loss of shipping info if I edit the listing. Honestly TM put an actual person who has sold some things on TM in charge of designing the layout instead of the useless the ones doing it now. ABSOLUTELY NOT IMPRESSED WITH THE LAYOUT. USELESS AND NOT USER FRIENDLY.

My products will get slower depending on how many products have been saved. If you have multiple one off products that have been sold then deleting these will speed it up

I've found it a lot better lately Yvonne. A few weeks back everyone seemed to be having issues, but after a few outages and scheduled maintenance things seemed to have improved. I mean search, especially more complicated searches has always been dicey but apart from that everything is going fast. For me anyway. I have around 1000 products now. I did a recent cull and cleared out about another 1000 long gone items. As COPPER mentioned, maybe that helped.

Im not impressed with the new system and as others have stated it is not user friendly. If your tech savy you may be able to work it out but if like me you are an older person on their own and struggle with technology its an absolute nightmare. I received an email in regard to a question on my auction but the question was not showing on trade me????
