Kia Ora Andrew,
Sorry to read of your experience with that Trade,
If you are only after the Buyer's information you can fill out a Statutory Declaration to obtain your Buyer's details required for the Disputes Tribunal / Small Claims.
Refer to the Help file: Making a Disputes Tribunal claim as a seller – Help - Trade Me
About midway down the page of the above Help file you have a Drop Down menu to information under 'I don't have the buyer's details' in which you can download a Statutory Declaration & read advice with further steps you will need to take to have these details released - this is subject to approval.
All the Best!

Hello Andrew. To request a members contact details you have to fill in the Statutory Declaration and send to Trade Me.
This is all explained in the help file. You don't need to contact Trade Me directly.

I have been charged for withdrawal fees, I don’t want to buy the company, it was a free listing.

Hello Terry. There is a $3 charge if you withdraw most active live listings. This is to encourage you to not list items then withdraw them for no reason, or sell it elsewhere. However, if you have a genuine reason why you had to withdraw your item. (Like it was lost or damaged) You can contact Trade Me to see if they will process a refund for you.

Kia Ora Terry,
All Listings can be withdrawn for free within the first hour of Listing Live - Not all Listings incur a withdrawal fee beyond the first hour though you can find which Listings are charged a withdrawal fee & the amount charged for withdrawing each Listing type through the Help file below...

Terry we would need some more info here to help you.
What kind of listing was this? There is nothing with a $800 listing or withdraw fee that I am aware of?
Was this a vehicle, or 2 vehicles?

Not sure if you mean you can't choose a category to list in or if the category is just not there. There are many items eg cars, caravans etc that can't be listed using the apps, so you need to list via the website version of Trademe on your browser instead. If it's something else eg a suggested category comes up and you can't change it to another one, then that might be able to be fixed by using a different browser, clearing your internet temp files, etc. Some more specifics as to what you are trying to do would help.
