Fixed Price Offer Issue

Hello robbie. Do you have only one of each item? If so you might have the wrong box ticked in settings. If you have one item only, at closing you can ask My Products to either relist it, or do a FPO. Personally I go for relist, that way I have a potential audience of millions, rather than a few who might have added it to their watchlist. But your choice could be different.

S Community SuperuserKia Ora RobbieSorry to read you're having such a difficult time with Listing your items through multi platforms on the system,Just picking up on your following statement <quote> I was advised to use my products to learn how to navigate the app, it’s incredibly annoying to do so on a mobile phone. After finally figuring everything out, I had to relist all my items and pay for them again. <unquote>You should have been able to import these Listings into My Products - under the circumstance if you identify the Listings you incurred a second charge on as a direct result of transferring them into the My Products Listing tool TradeMe may help you out with those Listing fees so you only pay once for the initial Listings. To contact TradeMe staff through "Live Chat" for assistance, If you select the Contact us Link at the very bottom of any TradeMe page the Chat Tab will Pop up in blue at the bottom right of your landing page screen. - Enter in the Chat bot which comes up once opened in a New conversation - Talk to person - and you are taken to entering a few details before arriving at the window to Chat with a Real Person/Staff. - Enter your Listing numbers in the Chat window here or attach a screenshot of them enabling staff to pull them up readily. The Live Chat manned hours weekdays are 8:00am - 5:30pm and weekends 9:30am - 4:pmAll the Best! - Cheers.1

Why are you paying to list things, trademe works on the basis of paying when you sell things - or are paying for the extra services/high volume fees?

Same problem. It’s been months with this issue. Trademe tell me it’s only affects certain categories but I have the issue with all categories I list in and other traders listing in the same category as mine can fixed price offer. Trademe don’t give a rats about their customers supported by their lack of customer service and ability to contact them. They are raking it in with the extra listing fees.

Hello Stephen. While it is a known issue with the standard listing method, this topic heading, and first post, are around Listing Tools. As far as I know you can do FPO using My Products no problem at all. In fact Trade Me recommend this method if you are having problems. Are you saying you can't do FPO using My Products? Or are you saying you can't do it using the standard way from your unsold page?

Its been months since i have been able to offer FPO to watchers. Its not good enough that these options are no longer available. keep getting told they are temporary and that TM is upgrading, but its been a while now. No one i know that uses TM is happy about it or liking the upgrade and are probably going to go else where to sell. Please sort this out asap so we can start using Fixed Priced Offers again on all auctions like we use to do.

As above, I can’t make fixed price offers to my closed auctions. It’s really affecting my sales. I rely on this so much and even as a buyer I often purchase this way. When is it likely to be fixed?

Kia ora Michelle, we are making changes to the site which will make it easier for us to introduce new tools and features to make the site better. These changes are being rolled out gradually, while this is happening some features are temporarily unavailable for some listings. You can find more info on the changes here. The team are working incredibly hard and you can use 'Tell us what you think' to give us feedback. In the mean time My Products is unaffected and can be used to automatically send out fixed price offers on unsold listings, so you may want to give it a go. It's easy to use and lots of help here on Community if you need it.

These experiences echo mine. Most of my previous sales were sold via Fixed Price offers at the conclusion of the listing ending. I feel TM should be compensating us for the inability to use this feature. Your system upgrade has significantly reduced the functionality and positive experience TM :(

I cannot do a fixed price offer on my listings which is affecting my sales so much! get this sorted asap as I am looking at selling elsewhere as it is becoming to difficult to use tm as a casual seller and buyer. It will just be easier to use another site that works. There is not support with these issues and it is leaving such a bad taste in my mouth. Sounds like these issues have been happening for 6 months...... that's a crazy long amount of time not to have sorted this out. So disappointed in tm.

Agree 100% with your comments. Most of my sales were via the fixed price offering post listing concluding. It’s crazy that Trade Me hasn’t resolved with a solution yet. Sharing your pain Serene :(

Hello serene81. Over a year actually. The only known solution is to use My Products. That is working well and has other advantages. It's worth checking out.

Yeah what has happened. Easier on Facebook. You guys are losing money from simple issues like not being able to make a FPO. Why shut it off in the first instance.

It seems it's profit before customers and trademe isn't listening. I am sick of listing and not having options to offer fixed price offers at the end of the auctions. Purchasers expect to receive an offer if the listing has not sold or has been relisted multiple times. It sabotages the auction by not sorting the "fixed price" feature. I have almost 1800 trades under my belt with 100% feedback but I'm not using trademe anymore. Trademe you are proving you don't listen to your customers and you are profit driven alone. Sort it out!

Agree 100% t-rob. Previously most of my sales were completed via fixed price offer. Trade me should be compensating us for loss of sales

I am thinking Trade me do not want casual sellers , as all the new changes cater for high volume listings. My products does not suit my needs .. Before I shut down my trade me I would like a YES or NO answer is FPO coming back for the casual sellers please ?

Kia ora kgp1993, yes, the team are working on fixed price offers. We know it's a popular feature for many sellers.

Hallelujah Michelle! Do you have an ETA on when we can expect to see it relaunched? Thanks
