How do I change delivery address?

If you go to your 'My Trade me' top right of screen, then scroll down the page to edit your address, you can  Add a new address to select when purchasing - Cheers.

Kris, the email that goes out with your delivery address is not automatic, but, if you use Buy Now then you are given a screen to choose a delivery address. By default, your membership address comes up, so you need to remember to select something different if you want it sent somewhere else.

I actually suspect I had this problem today with a buyer who said tracking shows their item was delivered today, but they don't have it. They also included their address in the email they sent, but looks like they might not have changed their membership address as the address they sent through when they purchased was a work address in a different suburb.

I've pointed all this out to them and am just waiting on a reply.

will, my membership address wasn't used this time he sent it to an old saved address for some reason.

so i cant see a preview now of the email that gets sent out before i buy somthing, that is crazy

Whenever you make a purchase you either select your address on the payment screen Or send your address through from your Won items - This is initiated by the Buyer.

Have you purchased from this Seller previously? It is possible they may have you on their own internal accounting system with your old address perhaps - this you will need to check with your Seller and have them change in their system if this has happened.

Meantime ensure it's deleted from the TradeMe system so it doesn't get sent out - Cheers.

kris. You can indeed check what address you sent. Go to your items I won page then hit the blue "Delivery Address" link on the right. Like the picture below. That will confirm what address you sent to the seller via Trade Me.

Kris you can also check the delivery address that has been sent to the seller by checking the Trade Me purchase confirmation email that will have been emailed to you at the time of purchase your selected delivery address will appear in the “Shipping details” section of that purchase confirmation email from Trade Me.

Kris, you do see a preview of the info you have used when you purchase something, including delivery address and have to press a confirm purchase button on the screen, although it is easy to focus on payment method and flick over the address without checking or changing it via the dropdown arrow as on the screen here just a minute ago when I purchased something.

In the case above with my buyer, they replied last night...Thanks for clearing it all up so quickly. I have accidentally sent to my old work address but can easily collect. I changed my home address and thought I had sent it there.

Just a heads up to remain vigilant on the Address when making a purchase - My recent purchase pulled up the Last address I sent an item to Rather than the normal default of being my Main Address - Yes! I have notified TM of this - Cheers.

My last 2 purchases - Paying by Ping, I have had No address pre-selected on the Pop up Payment screen - therefore compulsory having to select one - This is a Good Option! - Cheers.
