How do I contact Trade Me over this negative feedback
AnsweredI have been given a negative by someone over absolutely nothing related to this auction. I had two people bidding on a dahlia and both removed there bids when it is due to close. If I had not of raised the auction I would of had to pay a fee for removal. It disturbs me two people were placing bids in a bidding duel, and then one decided to blame auto-bidding and now the other one has given me a negative on nothing to do with the actual auction
I have tried messaging Trade Me but without any luck at all. I am now wondering if Trade Me is actually worth the hassle if people can do this sort of behavior.

Corey, you can do this yourself. Just go to the members feedback page, find the feedback you placed, then click on the Delete this feedback button.

Can it be done from an iPhone iOS or do I have to go onto a PC because it’s not showing that option??

Kia Ora Corey,
If you access the TM Desktop site through your IOS iphone Browser rather than going through the App the pic Gary-NZStocked has provided you is on the Old TM Desktop site which currently I can access through my Won items on the Desktop. If your feedback is within the last 45 days of the listing closing it should still be in your Won items if you can't access the Edit & Delete features directly via the Sellers feedback page - Cheers.

Kia ora Amy, sorry to hear this trade hasn't gone smoothly. Once the trade is completed you can ask the seller if they would like to change their feedback to reflect the outcome of the trade. If they decide not to, or if you feel the feedback isn't fair you can fill in a dispute report and the team will take a look for you. There's info on disputing feedback here.

Kia Ora Wayne,
To bypass the bot you need to type - Talk to person - in the empty space at the very bottom of the chat window next to the paperclip - under the suggested option bubbles.
This is a Public Community Forum for Members to help each other - it's not a TradeMe staff line of contact. - As it is a Public Forum you will want to use the cog wheel adjacent your name to Edit & remove your cell number, contact info' is prohibited from the forum & you have left yourself vulnerable for scammers who scan for this information. - Cheers.

I offered my buyer a refund if she returns the item. She asked if I would cover the postage on Tuesday, and I replied on Thursday (I was away and had no internet), so she told me that my reply was too late (1 day) and that she had donated the item to charity. She gave me negative feedback. What else can you do? Then offer a refund, and I was also going to pay for the postage. 1 day later, she had already donated it to charity????

Kia Ora bettstein,
Sorry to read of your experience,
That excuse from your Buyer doesn't ring right with only 1 day grace to response especially if they were expecting a refund. All Sellers & Buyers must respond to emails asap though within a guided timeframe of at least 2 days.
You can type your response under that feedback to show viewers the timeline of event which took place here. Be careful not to use any defamation comments just a true reflection of the trade. - You can request the Buyer to remove and/or amend any part which is not correct & you can place your own feedback for them. - Filing a feedback dispute is considered based on a set circumstances. If you go down this path include all email correspondence showing the timeline defining any false statement made though in this case I will say a response underneath will clearly show the timeline to all viewers. - All the Best.

I received negative feedback on my trade because my customer was unhappy with the trade. I offered a refund on the same day the parcel arrived, and she told me that she was unhappy (Monday). The following day (Tuesday), I received an email from her asking if I would cover the postage. On Thursday, I replied that I would cover the postage one way. MY unhappy costumer replied that MY REPLY IS TOO LATE, SHE DONATED THE CURTAINS TO CHARITY! I could not reply on Wednesday because I was away and had no internet. I believe this is unfair; I offered a refund and pay postage so why do I get negative feedback as well? I answered her email 1 day later.

Kia Ora bettstein,
I hear you, to dispute the feedback placed you need to fill in the form within the link I sent you, this is the procedure to have your dispute sighted by TradeMe staff. Have a good read of the feedback dispute criteria for having this amended or removed so you can prepare your rebuttal and are aware of the circumstances under which the company operates. This is a Community forum for Members to help each other, it's not a contact TradeMe forum. As members ourselves we can only guide you to the rules and provide advice around how to proceed. In this case your Buyer has given their account of what happened for them therefore if you are unable to have this amended by them you will need to show this feedback contains non-factual statements, your emails should show the correspondence timeline of refund requested, your response to and all communication.
For reference, when goods are returned for a refund the return shipping cost is payable by the Seller as well where the goods are not as described or faulty.
All the Best.
