transfers funds from TM account to ping

Hi John, you can't. You can only pay money in to your TM account to cover fees, couriers etc, not withdraw from it.

So I can’t withdraw, but can I transfer ?

You can't withdraw or transfer your TradeMe account funds - these funds are kept purely for listing fees and success fees.

Ping payment funds can be withdrawn, transferred to your TradeMe account funds or used in part or full to pay for your TradeMe purchases.

If you have topped up your TradeMe account Funds in error you can request a refund.

I have applied to close my trademe account due to not being able to transfer to my ping

Kia ora Richard, we can refund you the Trade Me account top up back to your card. You don't need to top up your Ping account to use that payment method - just use your card for any purchase that offers Ping and it will be processed through the system.

I’m in the same situation, I have $269 in my trade me account and am trying to put it back in my anz bank account and am having a hard time trying to , community team suggested “ just use your card for any purchase that offers Ping and it will be processed through the system”
How ever I don’t want to buy anything I only want the money refunded cheeres
