Where is your chat bot that used to appear on the bottom right or are we now delegated to silly reasons to click onto when we want a straight forward answer???

Dale, the chat bot is only active IF there is someone available. If there is nobody home, it shows nothing.

Thanks Gary you'd think they make enough money to have someone like they always used to, trying to get answers to anything is so frustrating.

Or, have the chat bot there all the time (so people know it's actually there) and have it show as active, or not, or a message on it saying the hours manned or whatever.

Hi everyone, sorry for the confusion there - Live Chat isn't available today, but will be back as normal from tomorrow. I've also passed on the feedback about having a permanent icon on the page

So just got an email from trade me community support

Buy they have not replied to my comment/question. I have been checking at a lot different times over the past four days and have not seen the chat icon come up at any of those times.

Hi R, generally the team aim to be on Live Chat from 8:30am - 6:30pm on weekdays, and 9:30am - 4:30pm on weekends, but this isn't always the case. The Live Chat icon will be showing in the bottom right-hand corner of the Contact Us page when the team are available

hi Nat. Live chat has only ever been available on this new format. Like Hamish says above... The Live Chat icon will be showing in the bottom right-hand corner of the Contact Us page when the team are available.
Like this.....

If it's not showing there, it means there is nobody home, so try another time.

I haven't spotted the live chat button as yet when I have a problem, its is then this long process to log the job, then be told at the end why don't I use chat???

Unfortunately it's luck of the draw if Live Chat comes up or not on the contact us page. It would be SO much better if it was there all the time and just changed to red and had a message saying nobody was home, rather than it ONLY show up when someone is there. I usually write my message in the usual place, and even if chat pops up while I'm doing it I continue rather than using chat. The only time I use chat is if I'm just about to write and it pops up straight away.

Thanks Gary, I'll pass that feedback on about a message for when Chat is unavailable. That would be helpful and let users know that they were in the right place.
