    Hi everyone, I don't have any updates on a multifactor authentication feature for Trade Me at the moment, but I am passing on your feedback to the Trust and Safety team. In the meantime, we recommend enabling MFA/2FA for your email account as a first line of defence.

    Hi everyone, when confirming a purchase, the delivery address will be pre-selected to the most recent address you've added on Trade Me. We show this address clearly in the purchase process (this is the highlighted section of the screenshots below - we’ve just blurred the specific address shown) and always give buyers the opportunity to change this. We really appreciate your concern about potential bugs in the system – rest assured, we have investigated reports of delivery addresses being sent incorrectly.     Hi Vince, thanks for the heads up - if you use the "Report this listing" link on the live listing, our Trust and Safety team will review the listing.And for your issue Karen, it sounds like the other buyer would have been using an Auto-Bid, an optional feature on the site that can be enabled when placing a bid.     Hi Clive, sorry for the confusion there. As long as the email is from an @trademe.co.nz email address it will be a legitimate email from us. Our Trust and Safety team do perform checks on first-time or large Ping payments. The code they've requested will be attached to a 1-cent deposit into the bank account your payment was made from.
