Can't add a Start Now price Nor Select Ping so can't post a Listing

I would do a cache and cookies clear. 

These type of issues are sometimes caused by stuck cached pages.

Extensions and scripts sometimes also cause problems. Try turning them off if you have any running.

I've just gone through to create a new listing and noted changes the company have implemented therefore as Callum has advised, ensuring you're running the latest up to date Browser version and clearing your cache/cookies may resolve the issue. - I'm using the Edge browser without trouble.

Website troubleshooting – Help - Trade Me

I have done it all. I downloaded Chrome (which I don't like using) so no cache at all but no luck. Cleared my cache completely in Brave and Firefox but no luck.

As soon as I hit the Price and Payments page I get the Error message "An error has occurred while processing your request"

Then I try carrying on but can't add a Start Price and if I try the Buy Now route I can't add the Buy Now price.

I have tried it on 2 computers and get exactly the same. The only thing I can think is that they have not allowed for something with Linux Ubuntu as both machines are running Linux. We don't use windows at all anymore.

I wouldn't have thought the underlying operating system would have an effect if it allows a browser that is supported to run fine. It's more likely there is some kind of issue with the item you are trying to list, or possibly your account itself. 

Maybe you could try a test listing of a completely different item? So different category etc. 

Otherwise it might be something you need direct support from Trade Me with. You could grab screenshots and contact them directly to try and resolve it. 

Hi Casrich. Did you get the run an auction box to tick before entering a start price? If not the start price box will grey out and not be able to be filled. It is very odd that it states you have to select ping as ping is now mandatory and automatically filled by trade me. Clearing cache has never worked for me with these issues either. It has always been a trade me glitch.
