Welcome, yes there's all the aforementioned problems you have described.

Most frustrating and stupid to remove the most basic essentials including seeing who the watchers names are - without them it's become a very backwards website to operate.

When we could see who the watchlisters were we could exercise our own judgement if we would make an offer, or establish if the person is a likely competitor selling similar items to check out market forces, and just general "good will" between users

Yes! TradeMe are currently upgrading the system, whilst this is being gradually rolled out there are a number of features which aren't available on their new system as yet, you can read about the upgrade & a few missing features here...

Counter offer isn't available on all listings
Instead of making a counter offer, sellers can update the Buy Now price or add a comment on the listing to prompt buyers to make another offer.

Adding a Buy Now and editing the category isn’t available on all listings
If you want to add a Buy Now or change the category you've listed in, you'll need to create a new listing with the correct information instead of editing. 

Some categories can't be changed due to the different Listing fee structures and some can't be edited if they're over the first 7 days of being listed Live. - this is to prevent users avoiding fees by Listing similar though different items in the 1 Listing.

Fixed Priced Offer options 
Some categories include options to specify who gets the offer and how long they have to accept or decline. If your listing doesn't have these options, all members watching your listing will get the offer and have 24 hours to respond. - We've just been given the heads up the duration of FPO's has been extended beyond the first 24hrs for some categories.

We haven't been given an ETA of when these features may be available, enhanced or returned to/on the New System, this is a continuous and gradual upgrade process. - Hope this Helps.

Just to include...

My Products is TradeMe's own Free Listing Tool available to Both Casual & In-Trade Sellers which hasn't as yet been subjected to the upgrade process therefore all functions plus a few extras remain available.  There are many experienced Members in the community who List via My Products who have a wealth of knowledge and are happy to help Members through the transition and beyond.

I have unsold listings where no option is available to send Fixed Price Offers, despite having multiple watchers. Rather frustrating.

Kia ora suvorov1799, can you contact the team (blue speech bubble, bottom right of Trade me pages, including this one) with the listing numbers you're unable to send Fixed Price Offers for, someone will look into this for you.
