Help! No longer able to offer multiple shipping options
Hiya - trying to start an auction but suddenly I can only offer one postage option. The (un)help bot tells me I should just use the 'arrange postage with seller' option but I know that discourages buyers, because they don't know how much they'll have to pay. And then I can't use Ping either. Anyone had the same trouble?

Yes, I sell stamps and am having the same problem!! Super frustrating as buyers usually purchase a few at a time and i combined in the same envelope.
I feel the easiest solution would be for Trade Me to add a 'Combined Shipping' option in the drop down menu that has all the different regions/towns in it.
Hopefully they can sort something out soon.

Yes it does put people of, I too use to put $1.50 extra for more than one item as the items had to go in the next size bag..
And the AI is a joke they dont solve a thing...

apex81 it looks like the shipping options change has been reversed! At least I'm back to being able to offer multiple options (including regular post) and combined postage. Seems to have happened in the past 24 hours. Hopefully it's not just a short-term thing.

If I relist an item or sell a similar item that was originally on the old template, it changes to the new one that won't let you add a combined shipping option.

Kia ora paulmc, sorry for the trouble – we’re upgrading some background systems that power Trade Me, and as part of this change we're making shipping options more structured. Combined shipping is something the team are working on but in the mean time if you have a number of items to list and would like to offer combined shipping, you can check out a selling tool like My Products.

Hi Michelle, I've had a good try with My Products, but if you're a casual seller like me - selling a few small, one-off items and shipping mostly by regular post - it's just not suitable. The options are too rigid and don't allow sellers to offer a mix of regular post, parcel post and courier options.

No my products is for anybody. Sure, the more you list the more you benefit but it saves lots of time and hassle as its largely uneffected by the site changes

Kia ora sellsomestuff3, yes, combined shipping is one of the features the team are working on. In the mean time My Products is the workaround.

Kia ora everyone, I know combined shipping has been greatly missed, so I have an update for you, combined shipping is being rolled out to applicable listings on the new system. To use it you'll need to be on the desktop site, go to "Calculate courier costs" or "Specify shipping costs". Buyers can see and purchase using combined shipping from both the apps and desktop site. Of course listings on the old system have always had it, so no change there.

Hooray! Just spotted that, and put it to use, a few minutes ago. Many thanks for restoring a useful function. I'm hoping buyers will now go back to using Ping, now they won't have to fret about overpaying postage.
