Trader has two posts for the same item
AnsweredHow does a person make a complaint to Trademe about an unethical trader who is listing the same item under multiple listings? I have tried to contact Trademe but go round and round in a frustrating death spiral of questions that lead a person nowhere. Obviously, Trademe doesn't want to supply any type of service, just collect high fees.

Albert, you use the Community Watch link on the auctions. There is even a community watch topic heading in the dropdown menus specifically for this title, ie Report- This listing and others from the same seller, then a bnox appears for you to copy/paste listing numbers, then for the heading
Why do you want to report this? choose, The way this is listed, then for the question
What about the way it's listed? choose, The seller has lots of listings for the same item.
Finally there is a Tell us more.. box to write a message in. Give them as much detail ther as to what the problem is.

I cannot find a community watch link on the completed auction

That's correct. Once an auction has closed you can not report it, other than the usual contact us link at the bottom of the page.

Yes, I have been trying to contact Trademe but I keep going round and round in circles. There is no form to complete to put in a complaint

Albert. If the auction has closed then the seller has "got away with it" No harm done.
You can only report live auctions, not much point in Trade Me dealing with auctions that have already closed and are no longer on the website.
I would advise you to just keep an eye on their listings and report them using Community Watch if they do it again.

Kia Ora Albert, you mention the seller has 2 posts for the same item - is it possible they may have more than 1 of these items? As 1 of the listings is now closed it is possible the buyer may have not completed/paid for the trade causing the seller to relist. When listing an item if you have more than 1 you are able to list this in 2 categories - Cheers.

I experience a glitch in the app (android) sometimes when listing an item to sell at times it multiplies the number of auctions although I actually only want 1, I just ended up with x5 of the exact same auction one after another. Usually I just withdraw the additional ones which is free within the first hour to do but then I just realised I will still be paying the gallery fees on multiples so now I'm annoyed about this as it's happened lots of times previous and it never occurred to me about the listing fees. So this time I've just left all the extra listings because I'd like trade me to fix it and refund my listing fees at the same time! I wondered anyhow that this trader Albert was mentioning may in fact not even be aware that they have this going on and could also be subject to this glitch!!?
