Seller wants more money
Answered-
is it a couple of dollars for ie: rural address for the company moving the package or is it over the top asking amount?

The problem is that TM quotes are just estimates, the actual postage can be more. Sometimes couriers raise prices - I once had to pay over $10 more than TM estimated because of that.

Kia ora James, sellers are able to get Book a Courier price estimates to add to their listings, if the final shipping price is higher than the estimates, sellers can ask the buyer to cover the difference.

It's advertising discount for multiple items and then reneging on the discount.

Michelle - unfortunately in the real world it doesnt work like that for 3 reasons - 1) auction shipping costs (regardless of where the quote is sourced from) has no mention in the auction that it's an estimate so widely regarded as the fixed amount, 2) when you buy something, you include the shipping cost to calculate the total cost to purchase. If this is an estimate it means the total cost might be more than you want to spend, 3) when bidding it is considered a contract/agreement between you and the buyer - how can the shipping be changed legally?

I did this the first time and y'all did nothing. Seller then blocked me. Second time I just said refund and bought it on ebay. A deal is a deal, except on TradeMe from my experience.
