unlikely.. we had the same issue, back in 2016 customer had asked a question just before the auction closed about the product and if it was a push button (was never stated as a push button and had super clear photos of the measuring wheel) they brought it then gave us a blue face for not being push button, we requested it to be removed and TM never did, it was unfair on our part as we had had been really clear in the listing and made sure it had good clear photos, the customer had just assumed it did.
themuss11 it was faulty for the customer, if it wasn't working, and could have done a return shipping label taken it out and returned to customer no working as a repair, so it was good of you to do the refund instead.
griffin60 - you have 2 options refund and relist and place feedback. or just hold onto it until they touch base again - but also check the junk/spam folders incase they have emailed you and its gone into that folder
rosie952 - under sold can you see it as sold? if you do then open it and see the buyers details - the email for the buyer will be noted. also check they haven't emails you and are in the spam or junk folder in your emails.
sadly not much, if they haven't paid and have gone cold... request fees back and relist - or you take them to the small claims court to try and force them, some people treat TM like FB market place at times.
is it a couple of dollars for ie: rural address for the company moving the package or is it over the top asking amount?
Frans - If I am reading that correctly you brought the second purchase outside of trademe - so you did a private sale direct with them, not much TM can do if its done outside of TM, going forward ask them to list the amount you want to buy so its all done via TM and if paid via ping can be disputed within TM.
yes agree with Callum, that is not ok behavior, do not agree to the return of fees for the seller. I think they may need to have a read up on how to sell on TM
Lee & Christine - you haven't said if the seller is a drop shipper or not, if you go back the auction you will see the noted information and shipping terms. its never ok to be abused any anyone, but there seems to be a bit of information missing - did you email them trying to get a refund? if the action says nothing about coming from another country etc then 100% report it but if it does say its coming from China and you missed that when buying the watch then the seller has listed correctly
does it say anywhere on the auction that its being shipped from China or the shipping options a couple of weeks and not days?
