"The provided delivery option is not valid"
People are suddenly unable to bid on my auction, after I added in postage costs. Any ideas why? Am I going to have to withdraw the auction?

Just another problem to add to the huge list of issues. Tonight I had an auction that I had just listed, the reserve was $40 and someone did the buy now for $45. When I look on items sold it says it sold for $40. Only it obviously didn’t sell for $40, that was the reserve and I had only just listed it and the buy now was $45.
Looking at other auctions I sold, I can not see bids or anything. I don’t know what they are doing but the problems are getting worse. You can’t put any numbers like measurements in the questions as it says you are putting in phone numbers.0 -
Yes I noticed the numbers thing too. I had to spell out the numerals. It’s all so time-consuming!

Good morning, the listing number is 5125854505. I’m wondering if it has been ‘upset’ by my adding in shipping prices, as there appear to have been no bids since then (Monday). Listing closes 2.17pm today.

I have confirmed the bug. No bids can be placed. As per Q&A a shipping option has to be chosen before placing a bid, then the error message comes up and the bid can't be placed. You will need to contact Trade Me directly via Live Chat to report the issue. Yet another problem with the "new look" Trade Me I'm afraid!
Would be best to do that now, as auction closes in a few hours.

You can also see in the Q & A that it doesn't display membernames either, just Trade me user and Trade me seller.

I would suggest the best idea would be a withdraw and relist. With shipping options loaded at the start when the new listing is made. Unless Meagan is happy with the price it's currently at.
Even if TM did manage to fix it, with closing so soon many potential bidders would probably still miss out.

I wondered if the shipping options were removed as originally if this would solve the issue? - The shipping could be placed in the Description perhaps.
It's a bit like Deal or No Deal isn't it.

Hi Meagan - I think you should ask trademe to reimburse you for the withdrawal fee. These faults are costing sellers extra money to try and get around the problems, all the best with your auctions.

Replying to AJ above, the email I received once the item was sold has the correct amount. So it’s displaying the incorrect amount only when I go into my trademe and look at sold items.
I am also unable to see any bidding details, where the seller is from or their feedback or anything. I think I will start a separate post where people can list things that aren’t right as we go along - would this be helpful? Then trademe can work through and correct. I guess when they change things it affects other actions they may not be aware of. (which is why it was probably best left alone lol)

Yes! this would be better in a separate Post being it's a different issue therefore Members with like issues may find your Post easily to add to sharing their own accounts.
You can also report through the 'Tell us what you think' Link on the New Desktop site from the page you are on at the time you're viewing the fault as these reports go direct to the correct Team who look into that particular issue and enhancements on the site.
You can also Contact TradeMe staff directly through "Live Chat" to report this, attaching supporting screenshots & your Listing number. - Cheers.

My Trade Me support person was great. The person ended up withdrawing the auction for me, as I couldn’t, and I have not had any withdrawal fees. I have not been able to relist it - I’ll need to start it as a new listing - but cest la vie. Thank you TM community!
