Provision of contact detaIls for when a person wants to view item you are selling

Basically, unless the listing has specific fields for contact details, like classifieds, you are not allowed to put contact details anywhere. Trademe is not a try before you buy market so it's necessary for buyers to ask questions if there is any detail they need clarification on or extra photos etc.

Listings shouldn't include any contact details, except where asked for in the listing process.

If someone wants to view one of my auctions before "buying", I give them the option to buy it and when they pick it up if they arent happy with it then we cancel the trade. I only do this after answering their questions and they are genuinely wanting to buy it but really need to see if for specific reasons. Ive never had someone not continue with the trade. And if i think they are just tyre kickers, i wont do it
