Does TM have an 0900 number?
I resently met a buyer on TM who was very unhappy with TM. He said he had rung their 0900 number and been charged $100 for it. Im scratching my head puzzled as I thought TM had deleated all their phone number for customer service, and never had an 0900 number, which I belive charges by the minute. Anybody throw any light on this? He was very very very unhappy with TM

Yes the number is long gone. Was this buyer talking about something that happened in the distant past? All 0900 numbers require a blurb before connection that it will cost.So they would have been made aware of it. If your buyer said they spent over $100 that means they were on the phone to Trade Me for close to an hour. I'm struggling to think what kind of issue would require a call of that duration.
As always, when you hear things second hand from someone else it's wise to not always believe that 100%...........

Callum, yes I have lots of question marks about this buyers statement, was just throwing it out there to see if its possibly a thing. But as I say I seriously question the authenticity of the buyers statement

hi trademe ..mine is a simple relist for one of my auctions ? been with trade from when they started ..but not being able to contact anyone by phone is poor service ...please check and see why my auction wont relist ,, it been a 2 minute process for many years ..and today telling me i cant? you have my details from this question ..please send me an email with why we have these faults ? under a simple relist

and those online help systems for any company ,, be it spark ,, a countdown or trade shop anywhere ,, are the worst systems that can be introduced for customers ..they just dont help people ..pity trade is now using one

Hello Brendon. The fact that you can't relist auctions with the "new look" is well known and been happening for many months. Having a phone number isn't going to fix that. Personally I prefer online discussion. How do you get a copy of something that is said over the phone? How do you remember what is said? How can you refer back to any instructions you are given? You can't.
In my opinion they are not the worst systems at all. They are a big improvement.

in the my last 20 years with trademe ..a simple email or ph call sorts the problems instantly .. but getting back onto the issue as i cant email for help .. Callum get someone to look at my unlisted item urgently please ? this would have been fixed by now with simple real contact...please confirm if you can fix my already paid for advert ..thats not live

and no Callum the online system you have added like most larger companies ,,is useless ,, it only sets out std answers that dont resolve real probems ,,as i stated above ..for the last 20 years with trademe ..errors and probelms where provided with real solutions by real people very quickly ,, sometime within minutes .. anyway how is my problem with not being able to relist going ?

Hello Brendon. I don't work for Trade Me, I am a member just like you.
However I am happy to give you a straight and simple answer. If you are trying to quick relist your item from your unsold items, and it's on the "new look" website, basically, you can't.
Trade Me are aware of the issue but they haven't given us a firm update as to when that will be fixed sorry.
There is a workaround. But it means using Trade Me's free listing tool My Products. You might want to look into that.

Sorry to read you've got the same issue of not being able to Relist your Listings,
Callum & I are Members just like you, we're not TradeMe staff - Confusing I know though you can tell who TradeMe staff are by their Badge Tags which will read TradeMe staff, like Michelle's comment above in this thread, as below...
TradeMe are gradually upgrading the system which is causing a disruption from the normal trading experience for a few Listings in some categories - The ability to Relist is 1 of the options they are hoping to have reinstalled in the New System asap. - This feature is only missing for a few Listings in some categories currently, you may find other Listings have the function available.You can follow progress on the upgrades & intended reinstated features through the help file We're upgrading some of our systems – Help - Trade MeUnfortunately we haven't been given a timeframe outside of this at this stage However Members are being offered to look into the My Products Selling tool which is free for In-Trade & Casual Sellers being TradeMe's own inhouse product. - My Products is currently unaffected by the system upgrades, it comes with extra Features not available to the usual Listing Process like Listings don't fall off the system at 45 days, you can set auto Fixed price offers & auto Relists to mention a few. - Whilst My Products doesn't suit every Member there are many experienced Members who hold a wealth of knowledge in My Products who are happy to help get you started. - Cheers.Reference: Selling tools – Help - Trade Me0 -

Kia ora Brendon, you can still relist with the new look site, but the bulk quick relist feature is currently unavailable. If you are using the app and are trying to relist a vehicle, this can't be done on the apps. If you go to the desktop site, either using a computer, or using a browser on your phone to log in, you should be able to relist from your unsold. If that isn't working for you get in touch with the team and ask to 'talk to a person', someone will take a look for you.
