Why selling items with a fixed price has two different format? "Make an offer", "Message" and "Calculate shipping" sometimes unavailable.
As the title suggested. I want to sell an item with a fixed price.
I noticed that even in the same category, the listing seems has two different format.
One accept "Make an offer", allows you to calculate shipping cost, and messaging after the item is sold.
Another provides none of these options.
I know the 1st one has features from newer designed website.
Once the item is listed, there is no way to switch to the newer style. Even relist the item won't help.
Is there a way to permanently use the newer design?

Kia ora Luke, Make an offer is available only if the seller sets it up when they create the listing and can be used while the listing is live to agree a sale price. Fixed price offers are for unsold items so can only be offered out by sellers once the listing has closed, the price is set by the seller.
It sounds like maybe you're wanting to list your item with a Buy Now? So that you set the price and a buyer can buy straight away without having to bid.

I'm the seller. The option only shows sometimes when I list an item. Why is that?

Kia Ora Luke,
Some of your New Listings are created using the New site & some are created using the Classic (Old) site - As the upgrade progress's your Listings will eventually all be on the New site. - There is no provision to choose between Listing sites when you create a New Listing, this is dependable on where the platform is at, at the time of creating your New Listings. - Cheers.
