Cannot edit or update Classified - "oops'' the banana error !!

The same with me. I have been trying for over a week. I am trying to contact trademe team to help me, but could only do it through messenger and is extremelly slow. I haven't got an answer in the last three days.

Hi Godfrey and Paula, sorry to read that. What sort of classifieds are you both trying to edit - are they car listings or something else?

Under Livestock - sheep-Farming, forestry & Business. Have tried to contact.....no reply & unsuccessful again last night & again this Morning.

In the meantime, I'd suggest trying a few trouble-shooting tricks like clearing your cookies, and ensuring that you're using the latest version of your browser.

Hi Emma, what type of listing were you trying to edit, and what were you trying to change when the error popped up for you? I'd recommend also having a go at these troubleshooting steps to check if they make a difference

Same here - keep getting the banana error when trying to update/edit my livestock classified. Any ideas? Tried the suggested troubleshooting methods suggested by trademe.

They did update mine for me using live chat, so you could try that, but it is not very convenient. I will need to update again today as people come and look at puppies.  Said it was a problem at their end but not fixed yet.

I cannot update my puppy listing as it keeps on saying "oops banana error" the maintenance team is working on it - a whole day now. Please help. I need to update ASAP / urgently. 

Same here!  Trying to update puppy listing and no luck.  Was fine last week and now not.  Very frustrating as have tried multiple times for the past 4 days.

I found the only way to do it was to get on their chatbox and get them to do it for me.  It would then work for a bit and stop again.  Very frustrating. Lucky the puppies sold quickly.

Hi, we have tried 4 times to update our Southern Star caravan listing. It just returns the "Banana 500"error message. Help please, this is frustrating!

If you hit "contact us" at the very bottom of the page, the chat symbol will pop up on the bottom right-hand side, if they are around.  They can then help you edit it.  Would be better if they fixed the problem as it has been happening for a while now.  Normal working hours was the best time to try.

Hi. I have trouble with my classified too. It is a horse for sale and I paid 40 Dollars, this used to be a one off fee and I could relist it again and again but this time it does not work. Please help, I really need to sell this. 

Hi Monika, has it been more than 45 days since you last had your horse listed? If so, we'll be able to help you with that. The fastest way will be to reach out on Live Chat and speak to an agent.

Trying to alter / edit my listing and get this same message.

I am selling a Breeding Ram under Farming - Livestock. Want to amend this listing and been un-successful for 3 days.

I had paid to promote this listing so very reluctant to erase it and start again UNLESS Trademe refund my account.

Any other suggestions as reaching and getting response from Trademe at this stage is terrible.

My listing Number does not show up as a listing and I cannot modify the listing. list number 4360394143. what up?

I can see your 2013 Ducato Bessacarr Swift 454 listing ok Stewart. You can usually only modify classified listings within the first 7 days of listing.

I can Confirm same as Gary-NZStocked, I can see your Live Listing also - However it is in the Parts & Accessories / Other Category - If you can't Edit to change Category you will have to withdraw the Listing & Relist - TradeMe should refund your initial Listing Fee - However I would confirm this with staff first.

To contact TradeMe staff through "Live Chat" once you've selected the Contact us Chat Tab you need to give the landing page a count of 15+ seconds for the Chat Tab to Pop up in blue at the bottom right of your screen, there is a slight delay in this appearing.

The : Oops there was a slip up , ( Banana error 500 )message keeps coming up when I try to access Motors / boats via a saved icon on my I pad .
This was happened for about three months , then came right for about three weeks , now it has come back . Very frustrating
Not an isolated issue by the look of the comments over a fair period of time .

I have been trying to update my listing for a week and it will not go past step 5 of 6, it just freezes everytime. Trademe needs to have this fixed! Especially when it costs $80 to list.

I am getting an 'Oops! Banana error' when trying to list my caravan for sale.  I have tried Google Chrome and Firefox browsers.  My account has the money to pay for the listing, too.  Funnily enough, my other account, without money in it, successfully got to the payment page!  Please advise.

Great by the time you did this I had paid for another ad.. This has happened twice.. Hopefully we can fix it or I am going to go bankrupt.. hahaha
