Why is a category greyed out? Can't select it.
AnsweredI want to sell my trailer, but in the app when I go to Select A Category, the Single Axle category is greyed out, and I can't select it. What's up?
I have enough money in my account to pay for the fee.
The app is updated. Any ideas?

Are you using the desktop or mobile site - I have just tried listing do a listing for a single axle trailer and it worked for me. I am using the desktop site.

Thanks Yvonne, you're right, it works on the desktop through a browser. Thanks for the suggestion. Not sure why it doesn't work on the mobile app but I'll do it through the desktop browser instead.

Wow.. a while year and trade me still hasn't corrected this issue, no doubts they know about it.
I've been sending messages to support and even reported my own listing multiple times and trade me has not even had the decency to respond once.

Please advise why, when browsing items images are blurred then show up clearly? Why does it say"Processing request". "Waiting for trade me" , "establishing a secure connection". These are but a few frustrating features I'm experiencing while browing.

The system is slow loading that's for sure! Hence blurred Images clearing etc.
I have a Post which I report irregularities in the system to TM staff which is monitored for resolve - please feel free to add the issues you encounter also - Cheers.

This is so frustrating being that it's been an issue for ages. I can't list my single axle trailer! Come on trade me... do you want our custom or not?

S Community SuperuserKia Ora Denise,The option to list in the Motors category was never available in the Apps due to complex systems and the different companies information is sourced from during the listing process - If you type Trademe.co.nz in your device browser to go to the Desktop site you should be able to list your trailer from there - Cheers.0

@S if it works perfectly on the desktop site, that tells us it has nothing to do with complex systems and different companies... Instead it's simply that the mobile app team hasn't been told to fix the issue. If Desktop yes, and App no = then the problem is clear. Trademe just doesn't care.

I'm a Member just like you all - I'm not TradeMe staff.
The Apps were designed for a quick Buy & Sell Feature - they were never designed with the full Desktop features therefore they can't do all functions of what the Desktop can. - I don't know what the long term goal of the Apps is and perhaps someone can ask TradeMe that - I just wanted to help Denise & others to List their items and the Desktop currently is the only way how to - Cheers.
