Potential Spam
There is no clear way to alert Trademe about potential Spam while situation is evolving. Help me how to go about it? after compleeting purchase an email from seller appeared asking mi to "complete" the purchase. the hyper link led me to a non trademe website with an unrelated item.Asking me to go through a few steps to confirm a color of an item. (unrelated) This was suspicios enough to runaway from it. Strange experience! however i could not found a way to alert Trademe!

Hi Yas if you have received any suspicious emails or links you can forward them to the Trade Me Trust & Safety Team for them to investigate via this direct email abuse@trademe.co.nz Refer here for more details https://help.trademe.co.nz/hc/en-us/articles/360007001332-Phishing-and-scams. Also I would get in touch with the Trade Me Customer Support Team using the Contact Us link at the bottom of any page click on the link and wait a few seconds until a blue chat bubble appears at the bottom right of the screen click on it and you will then be able to chat with Trade Me Customer Support live. You will need to wait until 9:30am to access the Live Chat option see the operating hours below. The Live Chat operating hours are Mon-Fri 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Sat-Sun 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM.0 -

If this happens afterhours you can report through the Live Chat, as SJ has given directions, Afterhours the word Chat is exchanged for Help - You can write exactly what is/has happened with as much detail as possible, allowing TradeMe staff to pick this up from there. - Cheers.

Trademe refunded the sellers fee but not refunded me as a buye. I demand refund for the uncompleted purchase.

File the Dispute resolution Tab in your Won items if the item is there and/or contact TradeMe through Live Chat, as SJ has provided, to file the report if it's no longer in your Won items & to gain confirmation of your refund turnaround - Cheers.
