Combine shipping problem

Unfortunately combining shipping is not always cheaper than sending individually Stephanie. I think you answered you own question as you said you selected  "Quote for Combined Shipping", rather than a shipping price. If the combined rate is not shown, then it's best to ask for a quote so you know what your total to pay is going to be, before buying. Many sellers and auctions do say $0.00 to combine, and some also say no more shipping when you purchase more than 1, but each seller is different.

Confirming what Gary-NZStocked has said - whenever you see a  "Quote for Combined Shipping" this means to use the Question & Answer feature to request the Combined Shipping Total - Sorry to hear you have been caught out with this one.

This is the general guidelines for Combined Shipping which show the differing options...

On my Auctions, I have this wording, 

In shipping section, - Combining with other item, Seller to confirm cost,

On Auction

But some just choose to ignore this and pay one shipping usually the cheapest, 

and I only Confirm combined shipping after I have received and checked their address send via Trade Me, where it maybe rural etc. or only one carrier delivers there, which may not be my Main Courier, 

There are many varables when it comes to combining, always check with seller,
