Reporting Buyers with Terrible Feedback? How?
Answered63 positive (44 individual), 4 neutral, 25 negative and 2 coming from me soon. Even some of the positives are negative comments. How are they allowed to stay authenticated and bid? They won two of my listings, no action etc and then I saw their feedback (they bid just before auction close so I didn't see them until too late) - feedback from last year and this year. My question is, Contact Us goes into a rabbit hole of redirection for automated queries but no where can I find any link to report a buyers feedback? Is there no way to report this sort of thing now? Trademe seem to be impossible to contact.

This can be reported through the Chat Tab Or Help Tab which Pops up in a blue Tab bottom right of your screen after selecting the Contact us link - you have to give that landing page a count of 15+ seconds as there is a slight delay in this appearing.
The 'Live Chat' manned hrs Monday - Friday are 8:am - 6:30pm & Saturday - Sunday 8:30am - 4:pm. - Afterhours the Help Tab should open a window for you to leave a message - Cheers.

Thank you S much appreciated. I will give this a go. They are certainly creating some nuisance lately.
Edit: Sadly I can't find this at all. The Help in blue comes up but doesn't go anywhere after I click on it. May be because I am on an Apple computer?

Hi. Go to Contact Us at the bottom of any trade me page first and the live chat bubble will appear when staff are available. Help bubble gives me leave us a message template when I click on it. Took a few seconds to appear?

After selecting Contact us you give the landing page a count of 15+ seconds you should see this image which I see you got to with the Help Tab - Did you get any error message after selecting the Tab or did it just sit there?

After selecting that Chat Tab you should get a similar window open on the page to this ...

This is the Live Chat window - the Afterhours Help window is similar - I'm on an MS Edge Browser in the Desktop site - Your Apple Computer should be seeing the same image in the Desktop site - Are you going through the Desktop or the App?

Are you running on the latest browser version for your Apple Browser?
I can confirm I have only just had the Help Tab appear in the last weekend 29/30 July 2023 therefore it possibly is a progressing application on the TM site perhaps. - If you can use the Chat Tab window you can always type your message through that window - start Chat to file the message through and end your Chat session so you needn't speak with the staff, if you prefer to do it that way. - If your not seeing a Chat window and you are on the latest Browser version your using this is something TM will have to look at there.

I think they don’t remove them now as much as they used to, if someone is a fraudster, they are pretty quick to kick them off when they find them. People that are just a bit useless they tend to allow them to continue on - I do suspect there is a reason for that though…
My theory is, that they used to kick people with bad feedback a lot, but then they would just create a new Gmail account, and then use that to make a new TMe account. They would then go back to their old tricks, but with a clean slate. By leaving these fools on, and not deleting their accounts, we can at least see their feedback history, and make the choice to remove their bids and blacklist them.
Just my theory.

Yes! Simon, I believe they give guidance opportunities to these Members allowing them to change the state of their feedback towards positive accounts however they still need to know the who and apply the relevant restrictions on the accounts - reporting these is still worthwhile all round - I agree it's good to see these ones and note accordingly - Cheers.
