Success fees refund denied

Why was my success fees refund denied (P223641525) when the buyer has a sea of red negative feedbacks and this trade was obviously not finished (see my feedback for this item)?

Sorry to hear that! - This is the community forum you are on here, we are members of TM just like yourself - we are not TradeMe staff. This community forum is in place for all members to help each other where we can in offering advice.
If you have been emailed by TM regarding this fee reply to that email if you can, otherwise You can contact a TradeMe Staff member directly for assistance via their "Live Chat" facility by selecting the 'Contact us' Link at the bottom of this, or any TM page and awaiting 15+ seconds for the Chat Tab to Pop up in blue.
The 'Live Chat' manned hrs Monday - Friday are 8:am - 6:30pm & Saturday - Sunday 8:30am - 4:pm.

Hi JLG, it looks like that refund was made. Double check your account statement and if you can't see it there, follow those steps shared above and speak to an agent on Live Chat 🙂

Seems like there might be a bug in the system. I had a similar experience where the success fees were refunded, however 'refund denied' is showing when I scroll through the sale listing.

Same as Yvonne. Recently, looking on the listing, it showed my refund was declined. I contacted TM and they said refund was approved and had been paid. I looked in my TM account, and yes it was refunded. So there is a a bug at present saying its declined when infact its already refunded. Check your TM account before contacting tm

I have also just noticed a "refund denied" and written to question this, I don't understand how it can suddenly start happening and not have been rectified as these complaints started 2 days ago?

I just checked my account and yes, I see there is a refund there so it looks like it must be a glitch but still best to keep a look out if you are expecting a fee refund.....

TradeMe have asked for affected Members to get in touch via their 'Live Chat' facility - it sounds to me this is perhaps not a site wide issue as they require individual trade details to investigate. Your specific one may just put them on the correct path toward that fix.

Hello, I am afraid that "Success fees refund denied" is still sitting happily there (although the fee was refunded).

Can you follow the steps in my Comment at the top to 'Live Chat' with TradeMe staff when they are on between 8:30am - 4pm over this weekend - they will want to take details of the Trade it's happened with to help them investigate why this has happened there - Thank you 😊

Hi JLG, I have given all the auction details plus 2 attachments to the 'contact us' site over a question re success fee refunds so I believe they should be able to find out all they need to know from that. Do you think I still need to talk to them or should that be enough? Cheers
