"Sorry, your credit card payment failed."
AnsweredSo basically I'm trying to finish buying the items that I bid for, and when I try to finish a payment for a item, it says "Sorry, your credit card payment failed." I've tried a different card and still doesn't work, I use a prezzy card btw.
I tried again this morning and still won't work. :(
I also use ping.

Is it a Q Prezzy card and you have entered it in as a saved payment method?
Payment methods that can be used and saved with Ping:
- Mastercard
- Visa
- American Express
- Q-Card
If your Q-Card is set up for payments try clearing your cookies and cache then re-connect to TM with a fresh start.
If you are having no luck there you may want to contact a TM staff member for assistance via their "Live Chat" facility which you can do by selecting 'Contact us' at the bottom of this, or any TM page and wait a count of 15+ for the 'Chat' Tab to Pop up in blue at the bottom right of your screen.
The 'Live Chat' manned hrs Monday - Friday are 8:am - 6:30pm & Saturday - Sunday 8:30am - 4:pm.- Cheers0 -
Hi, When I try to pay, I'm continually getting the words 'Sorry credit card payment failed'. I have large amounts available on ALL of my cards. I can no longer buy on Trademe, yet I have been buying here for countless years with no problem. Other sites like Amazon and Aliexpress work fine. Please assist.

Are you attempting through the Desktop site or the App? - Are you able to try through the Desktop site or opposite of what you've attempted this far? - I've not heard any reports of this error recently though if another Member has they may be able to help further - Cheers.

My ping payment keeps declining. Iv re entered my credit card details and there’s plenty of funds but it still keeps failing. Its a right pain in the you know what! Im in Australia so its my only means of paying

Have you saved your credit card first?
A little while back we had 2 reports of this happening from different people who ended up saving their credit card details on the site first - purchasing went through - then they deleted their card details from the site 24hrs after purchase as they didn't want this info' kept onsite - Cheers.

I am unable to complete a purchase as my ping payment keeps declining. I have used this before it’s the same card no changes. It is saved as my default ping card

What type of credit card is this? - we have a couple of reports of this happening today with Q cards. - Have you attempted to delete and re-enter your card? - Are you going through the Desktop site or an App? - Cheers.

Same here. Trying to pay via Ping. Paid via Ping heaps before. Now it won't. Called Amex. They said it's not them, they never event got the payment request.

Same here!! Ive tried repeatedly loading all my cards but they are all failing...clearly theres an issue here!! Very annoying!! What happened to bank transfer option??

There appears to have been some trouble using Ping for a short period this evening, other reports in are stating it is up & running again - Cheers.
