Add or remove payment methods from your Trade Me account so they’re ready to go when you make a Ping purchase.
Add or delete cards from your Trade Me account so they’re ready to go when you buy with Ping.
Cards you can add to Ping
Save any of these cards to your Trade Me account:
- Mastercard
- Visa
- American Express

Add a card to Ping
To add a card to Ping on the Trade Me website:
1. Go to My Trade Me.
2. Under 'My balances', select Manage Ping.
3. Under Payment methods, select Add a card.
4. Enter the card details.
5. Select Save.
To add a card to Ping on the iOS app:
1. Go to My Trade Me.
2. Select profile-framed Profile & Account.
3. Under ‘Balances’, select Manage Ping.
4. Select credit-card Payment methods.
5. Under ‘Add a new payment method’, select credit-card-add Credit or debit card.
6. Complete the card details.
7. Select Add.
To add a card to Ping on the Android app:
1. Go to My Trade Me.
2. Select profile-framed Profile & Account.
3. Under ‘Balances’, select Ping balance.
4. Under ‘Payment methods’, select credit-card-add Credit or debit card.
6. Complete the card details.
7. Select Save.
Delete a card from Ping
To delete a card from Ping on the Trade Me website:
1. Go to My Trade Me.
2. Under ‘My balances’, select Manage Ping.
3. Under shop-wallet ‘Payment methods’, select the three dots on the right side.
4. Select Delete.
5. Select Delete to confirm.
To delete a card from Ping on the iOS app:
1. Go to My Trade Me.
2. Select profile-framed Profile & Account
3. Select Manage Ping.
4. Select credit-card Payment methods.
5. Select Edit.
6. Select the red minus next to the card you want to delete.
7. Select Delete.
To delete a card from Ping on the Android app:
1. Go to My Trade Me.
2. Select Profile & Account.
3. Under ‘Balances’, select Ping balance.
4. Under 'Payment methods', select the three dots next to the card you want to delete.
5. Select Delete.
