constantly having to change to desktop site and list instead of gallery!
why have I suddenly started getting listings showing in gallery rather than list? why am I having to constantly click on desktop site then when I go to the next page it has changed again? why do all the photos in listings [books] now look like they are low res.? I am using a laptop computer, not a smartphone - when I try to go to Marketplace / Books the page that comes up in the search has marketplace/s/books/k0c1-193 and gives a different page setting from normal - and different from for example, Toys and Models, or Antiques - icluding no 'back to the top' option - your book searching page needs attention

Callum Community SuperuserWhat you are seeing is what all of Trade Me is going to look like eventually I'm afraid.
They are attempting to bring the website look and feel into line with what is shown on phones/Apps
So yes, desktop / laptop users have lost quite a lot in terms of looks and functionality.
All you can do is use the "Tell us what you think" link that you will find at the bottom of the page, and do just that.......

We can tell them what we think till we're blue in the face.Won't make any difference.They are making the functionality of desktop almost impossibe to use & once everything is switched over to the new site it could mean goodbye.

Can I get a few more details on where you're seeing the low resolution images, a couple of screenshots and listing numbers should do the trick.
