We can tell them what we think till we're blue in the face.Won't make any difference.They are making the functionality of desktop almost impossibe to use & once everything is switched over to the new site it could mean goodbye.
I would like to know ONCE & FOR ALL when I am logged onto desktop I am able to access ALL items on my watchlist that I have won or not won as it's been two years now where all KP-******* auctions (the mobile new site) dismisses the Desktop option altogether.There's nothing more frustrating than knowing by e-mail you have an auction but because it was listed in the new version I have to change to the mobile option of my LAP TOP to find it.Like mentioned earlier this has been going on for TWO Years now so is turning into an absolute joke !
Funny that the cut off point is 45 days to lodge a dispute yet TradeMe got in touch with me 3 months after an auction finished to say that a buyer of a dvd box set had issues with the set & want a refund.They only knew what the auction in question was as I had placed feedback on their profile.I asked TradeMe if I was still required to sort out a refund after all that time & at first said no it was optional.But the buyer kept putting pressure on them so in the end said I had to ring them to sort out a refund.So I rung them,they sent the dvds back which did turn out to have defects so I refun...
Everytime there is a postage price increase the headquarters of TradeMe must rub their hands together as they make more profit from shipping.And that's by doing nothing.
So what you're saying "S" is that old style desktop site will be phased out & that every single user will have to go to the mobile site ? The problem is that like many other traders on this site WE HATE THE NEW VERSION.SO MANY FEATURES ARE MISSING & SO MANY GLITCHES.Good I got that off my chest.
I still can't believe that way over a year ago when this problem existed in which they knew about it still hasn't been sorted ? Why should traders that use desk top have to revert to the mobile version to be able to see what they purchased ? Absolutely ridicious !
Yes I have noticed this as well.A previous intrade seller who sold books disabled their account & set up another account that is a "casual" one.They sell exactly the same as before & even had their old listings as auctions.The silly thing about it is their TradeMe name is exactly the same as their previous name but have added one number at the end of it instead.They have their bank account details on their auctions also which I thought was a no no.
I still believe like Westham60 has mentioned that shipping costs should be compulsory on all auctions with "ping".What's the point of being covered from a buyers perspective if ping is used & of course all auctions now have "ping" as a option if there's no shipping in the shipping details.Many traders avoid the ping fee by stating it in the auction description itself which makes a mockery of the "buyer protection" as buyers won't make two payments,one for ping & then the shipping balance to their bank accounts.Yes I agree TradeMe should have left "bank deposit/transfer" as a option but it's...

I have found it works if I don't change the catagory.For cds for example if I use the Duplicate feature & list in the say for example S for Simple Minds & then want to change to M in the cd catagory it wont duplicate the shipping.I have to fill it in all over again.But if I leave it in the S catagory (original) the shipping remains.I then have to go back to TradeMe & edit the catagory to the correct one.I have looked at the templates on My Products & there's no way of saving my own shipping details.Just the standard courier options & book a courier options.Oh we...
