Adding Shipping Details
For a while I was still able to add a caption to my shipping options either using the PC or android app for some listings, however this has now disappeared entirely and I'm forced to use the drop down menus with no provisions for freetext. I am still seeing listings from other sellers where they have been able to add captions. Is there still the ability to do this somewhere, or does it all depend on the luck of which format your account gets to use?

The new format for shipping doesn't work because I need to put a price just for christchurch and it will only let me put canterbury so I''t really needs to go to free text again

Do you use My Products? I can still use free text there on desktop if I select 'specify shipping cost'. I notice it doesn't work if I create a new listing but if I duplicate existing listings its still an option.

Kia ora kilpatricks, as a workaround you can put the shipping price for Christchurch in the listing description, or that note if shipping costs less than the option they choose you'll refund the difference.

Anybody else having issues with their local courier not collecting parcels that were booked using the online service?

I'm so with you, especially when it comes to Islands (Waiheke/Chathams/Stewart) & Auckland CBD.
Making it worse, some listings have changed to the new format while others have not.
Then after the sale, it's a whole new drama, with some items showing tracking numbers, others not & same for status.
The randomness of it all seems extraordinary with no logical pattern, like it goes live without proper testing.0 -
I know what you mean, my Daughter is a tester for IBM in Oz, and cannot believe the disarray TM site has morphed into

I have a fair bit of overlap with industrial control systems, etc. The one thing I have noted over the years is that when tested by the people who also develop the system, the far greater chances of things being missed. It's something called "Confirmation Bias".
It's something the air safety industry has a huge focus on, because there it has cost lives.
Though I didn't know about "Confirmation Bias" early in my career, if I wanted to prove a system fool proof, I would get the receptionist or an accounts clerk to test it.0
