Making an offer to watchers
After a listing has expired, why can we no longer choose which watchers we wish to make an offer to? Has this feature been removed? Are we now forced to make an offer to someone with really bad feedback? VERY ANNOYING

Yes was just thinking the same last night. Also - is the watcher someone who has been watching the thing for months, or a new interested buyer? We don't know. Some 'community'

Hello lamkins. Yes, at the moment people are reporting that you can't see who watchers are if you are on the new Trade Me.
I am not sure if this is a permanent feature to increase privacy on the website, or if it's something that is intended to be reinstated down the track.
In the meantime you can use the "tell us what you think" link at the bottom of any closed or live listing to explain your issue.

I can't see who I am offering to either. So I am not sending them anymore. Have to enter my suburb in shipping page. Why? then I cannot quick relist at auction close as it tells me I must enter shipping options. I HAVE selected the only options I can from the drop downs locked in by trade me. This is a bit of a mess.

And before you say it I can not use My Products. Someone showed me through it but many areas of the format are very small and it strains my vision too much.

I agree with the above comments. I'm also no longer making an offer to watchers and it is very annoying when the same watchers continuously transfer to a relisting. Trade me used to be so easy to use but since they "upgraded" to their new "user friendly" system it's been the pits. No wonder people use the unsafe Facebook Market Place .

Michelle advised a few weeks back that the issue with requiring you to enter a suburb had been corrected in the system and no longer asked fortherefore if you're still getting this it will pay to provide staff with examples of your listings where this is happening so they can investigate. The Posts to this have since been archived.
There has been a change to more structured shipping options which is affecting some items being Relisted, the system is looking for the updated shipping structure, whilst there may not be a change in the actual shipping charge each Listing that is flagged needs to be opened & processed manually through to being Active one by one to pick up the new structured set up, this may be time consuming depending on how many you're attempting to Relist however it only needs to be done the once, if the item doesn't sell the second Relist process should go through fine.

Kia Ora lamkers, zintellian & L,
You could work around these FPO's by adding the 'Make an Offer' option to all of your Listings and point perspective Buyers towards making a bid or using that option in your descriptions "as you will not be sending out an FPO at Listing closure," - which will enable you to identify Offers made per Member so you can check their feedback status prior to accepting or counter offering, where you're able to. - Callum's also given great advice to use the 'Tell us what you think' pop up box near the bottom of most pages in the New Look Desktop site to add your voices to the growing number of Members requesting to have the identification of Members back in this feature - Numbers count here and these requests go direct to the Tech team rather than through second hand. - Cheers.

Thanks for your comments S. But I have deleted the affected auctions now. I'm a little over the time needed to sort these things in a long winded manner or try to find a workaround. Have done tell us what you think for ages since we lost functionality on some things. Sorry but I am not a fan of make an offer. Do appreciate your help though!

S - Transparency is required. How is it acceptable that you are no longer aware of whom is requesting an offer? I don't wish to offer out to someone with poor feedback or to someone that continually requests offers & is just a tyre kicker. I would err on the side of adding these members to my blacklist, rather than offering out to, but I guess I won't know whom they are now, as they hidden by anonymity.

Trade Me's apparently all about making itself a secure & safe site, yet we are no longer able to see whom we are potentially dealing with. I do not wish to deal with folks with excessive negative feedback, plain & simple, nor people having the opportunity to anonymously badger me time & time again for a FPO/relist. Cheers.

Thanks marriott76,
I hear you and you're not alone in that, I'm a Member same as everyone else in this thread, I have no sway nor are privy to any direction the company is headed hence the more of us reporting through the direct channel to the company Tech team the higher our requests are being heard there. - Cheers.
