0 watchers & slow/no sales
Totally understand the climate we are in at the moment - but since TM has done all these changes -
In one way it was good- getting the serial* watchers off the auction - but now, no watches - pretty sure I heard/read that some traders/buyers are finding it hard to accept the offers given& of course Not knowing who you are offering too, has become a Nightmare-any one else finding this?

Personally, and I know some disagree, I think some people get a bit hung up on all this "who's watching my items?" thing. I don't have any idea who is watching, and don't really care.
My offers (when I have multiple of an item) are sent out automatically and also relisted at the same time.
If I only have one item I don't offer it, I relist it. It makes much more sense to me to have my item listed with with a potential pool of buyers of millions, rather than a few randoms who have happened to tick a box for whatever reason?

Just for clarity- does ticking the *thumbs down box, mean you agree, or are you not happy with what has been written?

Thumbs down box means you disagree. Thumbs up agree.

Yes, have noticed the same problem. We're trying to clear out stuff and even the views have dropped .Also, people are not seeing our listings. We've spoken to one person who won an auction and mentioned our other item, and they say they can't see them. Another glitch perhaps.

opo18 - frustrating isn't it. is this the master plan, perhaps? what/how do we correct, do you think?

artycall66 - yes very frustrating. Not sure how to correct it, as I don't think TradeMe really care about the mum & dad sellers, which is what made TradeMe in the first place.

Yep this is where we are at. I would go as far as saying TM don't care about anyone really. They delete threads and comments where they come under scruitiny and never listen to our complaints in any way. Instead they throw a 'superuser' at us to give us all 'information'.
I was told that the shipping feature was causing a bunch of issues using the quick relist option, so I spent a few hours updating auctions AND the shipping. I was assured this would be a one-off. Well it was not a one off at all. Stupidly you can relist them all individually, but not as a group. I was also told that all issues are temporary ... hmmm they seem pretty permanent to me.
Another thing I've noticed is Trade Me in the news - they deleted the link in another thread but easy enough to find. I think the whole platform is at risk. Many are turning to Marketplace instead. Tough times for Trade Me. Sad for mum and dad sellers, and for myself as my mum passed away and prior to her passing, she had instructed me to sell things on TM to keep the house going.
Would like to keep using it, but it seems to cause so much anxiety just to get an auction up and running these days.

We do remove content to keep things tidy, relevant and within Community guidelines. I've passed your feedback on now.
artycall66, If you have existing listings that you're relisting in categories which have been moved to the new system, they'll be imported across to our new system when you relist.
While this does mean that your watchers won't be carried over to the new listing, they will be notified that the item is back up for grabs so they can watch it again if they're still interested. This will only happen once for each listing, so your watchers will stick for future relists.0 -
Since the new changes The site is dead. Which is a bugger. There's plenty of other ways to sell out there.

Agree wholeheartedly. Fixing what isn't broke never ends well.
