Kia Ora acsstrade,
The current Ping promotion for % off Success fees incurs the Ping fee charge of 2.19% on sale and shipping price for the Seller - the Buyer pays a Service fee charge on the Listings also which is a separate additional charge. The savings for Casual Sellers is 5+% on all listings in the 2 Promotion categories.
You can read further regarding both through the Help file below... there is a link through to the Buyer Service fee at the Bottom of the page under 'Things you need to know' - No I'm not TradeMe staff, I a Member same as you. - Cheers.

In addition to S's post, because your item was $20 or under, there is no service fee payable by the buyer. If it has been $20.01, they would have paid 0.99c

tintin4 Do you have examples of items that still show the service fee? I can't see any on a quick look, but guess it's possible there could be some. The promo applied to items started last week, so if they are still live then yes, I guess the service fee could still be showing.
Applies to listings ***started**** from 12:00 am on Thursday 12 February until 11:59 pm on Sunday 22 February 2026

No im not suggested that at all, Im just saying that the promotion has finished as it no longer applies for listing made today as tested. A screenshot may help us with what your seeing. In theory now that the promotion has ended, you should be able to do a relist and not be forced to use ping - note you may have to deselect it.

Can you provide screen shots of the screens? As I said, it works fine for me and shows all payment options.
