Can now only list for 7 days without incurring a fee?
Now seems the default auction length is 7 days, any change incurs a 25c fee eg, changing auction length to 5 days. This is REALLY annoying as it's a useful feature to allow sellers to listing on odd days and still have all auctions to end on the same day. Even ebay allows you to choose the number of days an auction runs without charging!

Callum Community SuperuserHello tamora. Ran a couple of tests. For me I can select 3,4,5,6,7 days at no charge. If I try to make a listing for 1, 2, 8, 9, or 10 days I get charged 25c
I don't know if that is usual or a change. I use My Products to list normally which doesn't have those charges.
So to confirm. From my tests, there was no extra charge for a 5 day auction.

I can confirm via the New Look Desktop site, Edge Browser, I have the same results as you, incase the Apps, alternate Browser(s) or the Classic Desktop site are reflecting different. - Cheers.

But this is really going too far Trade Me, these money making tactics are not the way to go, I understand the fee for 10 days as always has been, but on other odd days?, absolutely ridiculous!!, Sorry Trade Me this is a step too far, one way to lose even more members, You lose members we lose customers and business, we lose enough business we will go too,
Trade Me staff need to look outside the bigger box and see the effects and damage they are causing themselves, they need to get rid of all these extra charges, and bring things back to how they originally were,
They are trying to make money but in process are losing members doing this, so losing more money/fees?, some of these changes there is absolutely no sense behind it some of their poorly thought out ideas? !, Wake up Trade Me, Open your eyes look at the bigger picture???,
Their are some sellers on here, hmm that should be Intrade only list for 3 days and continually roll over their listings, wonder if they are doing it via My Products or normal listings?, they could be losing $$$"s if not using MP,

Kia ora everyone, 7 day listing duration is the default, if you're choosing to schedule an end time, or end your listing the next day, or have more than 7 days duration the scheduled end time fee applies. Listing durations between 2 and 7 days can be chosen without incurring a fee. Callum and Flossy63 have given great advice here, My Products does have the handy feature of being able to schedule end times without the fee.
