What is up with all these E-Mails on relisted items? is there a glitch? Check safety Standards?
I have been relisting my products as normal, same types of Items I have sold for the life of this account,
and have received a trail of these E-Mails out of the blue?
Is there a glitch in system?,

Obviously each email refers to and probably has a link to the specific item listed. Have you double checked those items are listed in the correct category and that there is nothing in the listing to do with safety standards needing to be specified? Also check the product in MP in case a new requirement has been added that you are unaware of. I am sure the emails will have more info as to what is reqd?

Hi Gary,
There are no issues, they are straight out relists, same my products product templates since My products, products I have sold before but have multiple quantities etc. no batteries etc.
Yes, they are products for Babies/ toddlers under 36months, but nothing to be of safety concern, as legally sold here in NZ,
I have never had these E-Mails in the past, so why am I getting get them all tonight one after the other?,

You would need to ask trademe as they may have a new legal requirement to notify sellers, they have to adhere to. Is there a tick box in the product that needs to be ticked to confirm you comply? Could be the tick box is either new or has become unlocked in error.

I got one the same as yours it seems, telling me to check standards toys and linking to some standard about lead content in toys... for a pastic battery cell holder.
I assume because it's listed under
Toys & Models > RC & Robots > Parts & accessories > Batteries
and that's probably all the "intelligence" their process has.
Maybe comcom has been applying some pressure about dangerous toys being drop-shipped or something so they are bulk sending these to cover their a**.

I got another barrage of them later, but no sense to it?,
Yes, all in right category, no battery toys etc. Well known Branded items, that are legally sold within NZ so pass the safety NZ standards even to be allowed in the country,
Yes many many years ago I had issues with an item I brought, Picture on auction showed the genuine puzzle Rubiks ball, but I received a fake knock off that just fell apart, in the wrong hands parts coming off it were choking hazards for toddlers etc.It was binned, but misleading auctions using the genuine branded item pictures etc.
I took serious action on it and reported to appropriate authorities for investigation, as there was no way it would have passed NZ safety standards, lets say all their toy auctions were withdrawn, then not longer their account was disabled, it was a big seller too,

flossy63 Community SuperuserCan you please clarify, was this a previous E-Mail, or is this the E-Mail I was getting last night with every listing?,Because if this is going to happen when I list 100's of listings at a time with every single listing, it is an absolute joke,I can have well over 500 listings in same category at a time even up to 1,000 so will I get 500+ E-Mails when I list allbecause at end of day it is just unwanted spam, choking my Inbox,For us seasoned Traders we should be able to opt out of them as I do not want them daily,They should be targeting the casual sellers, some of whom have no common sense,as yes you do see stuff that should not be listed,0

I'm getting the same Flossy selling over in the 8+ in age Lego. Perhaps TM need to overhaul the "Toy" categories as I also received an email re a 1000 piece preloved jigsaw. Have been selling for 15+ years and this is the first time I'm getting spammed with emails re safety. Must be Bots sending them out.

I'm also getting emails from trademe saying an item on my watchlist has been relisted and is now even cheaper. The problem is 1) it's not on my watchlist and 2) the item is mine and 3) the price has not changed in years.

Those E-Mails are rubbish saying something has been relisted with a price drop, No, Items are relisted with the exact same reserve, no price drop, who do they think they are kidding? they are just misleading spam,
as I always check, because a lot are on my favourites E-Mails with original price, from previous listings, so check to see if items have been relisted with price drops, nope never,
and if you use Bidbud they show the closed item reserve,
