So few of my sales are internet banking, and so many of those are non-payIng time-wasters, that it really won't make much difference. That said, so few of my sales are trade me these days, I could stop listing entirely and it wouldn't make much difference!
The search has been bad for so long. Searching title and description should be the standard way, people shouldn't have to cram stuff into a title to get their listing found. A good ranking algorithm, smart tokenisation, normalising, and stemming - good full text search isn't that hard, there are solutions out there. Doesn't matter if it returns a thousand, ten thousand, a million results as long as the ranking makes the first 20 are the ones you were actually looking for.
My post has gone to pending beecause of the link, here it is screenshotted.
Go to the old sold items page https://www.trademe.co.nz/MyTradeMe/Sell/Sold.aspx click the feedback number of the buyer, and you should be able to see your feedback and an edit link.
If you accurately described the item and did not mislead the buyer, as a private seller you are under no obligation to accept a return for any reason, let alone to pay for return shipping. If you are "in trade" then as long as it's not faulty and you describe it correctly... you are not obligated to accept a return. "Didn't fit me", "don't like it", "bought the wrong part"... are all change of mind, not your problem. If for whatever reason you do agree to accept a return of a purchase, do not refund **anything** until the item is back with you and checked, then you can refund the item pric...
I assume it is all MVL listings, not just Max's Gary-NZStocked? Better add a note to my "you didn't choose what you wanted" email :/
Works for me in 131.0.6778.85 desktop chrome. I don't use the app.
Works for me, Chrome desktop 129.0.6668.89
Works for me (just checked the first random listing with choices I could find, not one of yours specifically). It is not uncommon (at all) for customers to just leave it as the first-selected-option. For that reason I make all my listings have the first option be "Default / Random Choice", that way 1. I know they did that, and can check with them what they actually wanted 2. if they don't respond (more often than not!) then I can quite rightly just send them what I think is best/have most of/reach first
Most likely explanation is you made a typo, selected a different product (bag vs box), or a different carrier (NZ Post vs Aramex). If you post the dimensions, weight, source city and destination city I can see what the shipping thing results for me.
