New Fixed Price Offer emails
Hey folks, I noticed the emails have changed for fixed price offers, they no longer include the actual offer, trade me can you add the offer amount in please.

S Community SuperuserKia Ora michellew2k,It is possible this is in an attempt to get more members signing into their TradeMe accounts to either accept or decline the Offer made enabling Sellers to move on more quickly with the item(s) process either way rather than having it sit in limbo?? - Just a guess here. - Cheers.0

Kia ora michellew2k, thanks for flagging this, can you take a screenshot of the email and send it to the team (blue speech bubble, bottom right of the screen) so they can take a look.

We've recently rolled out the Fixed Price Offer feature on our new platform, the team continue to work on updates so I've passed it on to the team as a suggestion. You can send us through suggestions using "Tell us what you think" on the Trade Me pages.

As a seller (Casual) we are unable to see who and where the location details are of those we are able to do a Fixed Price Offer to Michelle.
Thanks also for trying to help fix this long known issue up, some of our items we can still see user names to offer to but the click on the listing 24 hour Fixed Price Offer (FPO) does not afford us this Option still which is annoying.
By chance, are some of these matters arising in part also interrelated to when us Casual / sellers were unable to trade during Covid restrictions and website changes made then?
Ditto the coercive push to Digital payments and failing to factor into account Cash is still Legal Tender in NZ as we were all subjected to restrictions there too, along with accessing our Local NZ Post Shops?
Many of those aspects need to be factored into account, and reviewed, with some of the 'consequences' we are now been impacted with in many areas of life both human and digital .

Kia ora Howold, the team are continuing to work on updates, including on Fixed Price Offers, so you'll see those roll out as they happen. If there is something in particular you'd like to see, let us know using "Tell us what you think". We've been upgrading the site in the background for a while, so no, not related to any Covid related trading restrictions. The option for Sellers to offer cash as a payment method is still available, however access to a local NZ Post Shop is more a matter for NZ Post. 🙂
