PO Boxes not allowed at all now?
I have a PO Box that I use wherever possible for both privacy and security. I get the fact that courier companies other than CourierPost can't deliver to PO Boxes, but with the latest changes to the TM system it seems that I can't enter a PO Box as my delivery address at all. So for anyone wanting to deliver by snail mail or CourierPost I have to send a separate message asking them to use the Box rather than the default street address in my account. I'd rather not have my street address disclosed to anyone except when I choose to do so - is there no way around this?

I just test added a new address. All seemed to go through OK for me. I did have to click "can't find my address" as typing PO BOX 456 didn’t bring up any automatic options from the address finder.

That's weird - I'll try again in that case. It would not allow anything starting PO that wasn't a street name just the other day.

Succcess - thank you. The "can't find my address" option escaped me the first time round.

We have PO Box due to rural posties not liking our location. We had discussions with NZ Post and was told ALL courier companies would deliver to the street address of the PO Box lobbies and if they indicated otherwise they were in breach of delivery agreements. Previously the courier companies handed items into the rural network. Handing into PO Box network is no different. We had one courier request we collect from their actual depot but then dropped it into the street address (PaperPlus store contracted as NZ Post box foyer). I suggest contacting your MP and asking for NZ Post to sort contractor issues or allow other services to expand. The NZ Post conflicts need to end…especially as our issue originated with the NZ Post contractor deciding he did not like us refusing to sign an ATL.
