Kia ora Mark, sorry to hear the buyer hasn't been in touch. We generally expect that buyers will be in touch within 2 working days and that trades will be completed within a week. If it hasn't yet been 2 working days since your listing closed, maybe give the buyer a bit more time to get back to you. If you don't hear from them you can relist for free within 90 days.

I'm in the same boat too. My item sold a week and a half ago with no payment. I have sent two emails to the buyer and no response. Trademe is now requesting payment for the sale which has stalled. I couldn't find any help on situation.

The success fee refund feature isn't currently available for some listings while we are upgrading our systems, you can find out more about that here. If your listing is a KP- listing number then to apply for a success fee refund for this listing you'll need to Contact us and the team will help you.

Hello my item sold on 21/09 however buyer is not responding to follow up emails im moving house and cannot take the item can I re advertise it asap please ? or can I cancel the transaction some how please ?

Hi, my item sold on Tuesday morning. They have paid, and I sent them a confirmation email just after. When I went to book a courier, I found that the shipping fee they had paid was incorrect for their address. It doesn't come close to covering the shipping, so I sent them another email asking how they would like to proceed. Yesterday, I sent a third email, and I still haven't received a response. The item is boxed up and ready to go. I'm wondering if I'm landing in their spam folder... would love some guidance?

Kia ora Sanne, if the buyer has selected the wrong shipping option and aren't responding you can get in touch with the team for help and ask if they can reach out to the buyer. If the buyer has paid by Ping you'll need to arrange a different way for them to pay the postage.

I followed your link( I still haven't heard from them) and ended up on this page ( ttps://help.trademe.co.nz/hc/en-us/articles/360007001212-No-contact-from-the-buyer-or-seller ), which was unhelpful in my case. Is there an alternative way to put someone in contact with the buyer?

I’ve contacted buyer 5 times by email and have had no reply. They have purchased 2 concert tickets. They are e-tickets on my Ticketmaster account. There is nothing concrete to ship. I just need to transfer tickets into buyers name, but they haven’t replied and have now lodged a dispute with TradeMe saying they haven’t received product. Please help.

Sorry to read there's been no communication,
You've done the right step in notifying them through one of their other Listings. - You can place a polite feedback letting them know you have sent several emails & asked a question on one of their Listings - please check their spam/junk email folder & make contact with you asap
Collate screenshots of your emails to the Buyer and a screenshot of your correspondence through the Q&A section on their Listing, include the Listing number of the Q&A Listing you used also, to send into TradeMe.
You can contact a staff member by selecting 'Contact us' at the Bottom of most TradeMe pages, including the one you've commented through. - Select the blue speech bubble which comes up on your Landing page & follow the text prompts - attach your screenshot files through the paperclip icon on the Bottom Left of the window for the Dispute Team to review. - You will come across a text prompt to Chat with the team who may reach out to your Buyer sooner, given the circumstances.
The manned Business hours are until 4:30pm today Sunday 9 November 2025 - Or 8:am - 5:30pm during the week.

You will want to use the cog wheel adjacent your name in your comment to remove your personal email address & phone number - Contact details are prohibited from the Public Community Forum and you have left yourself open to scammers who scan for this information, - Cheers.
