What if you think the seller is charging way too much for shipping

Hello Karen. Without knowing the dimensions of the item it's impossible to say if it's correct. Ask the seller for the dimensions and calculate it yourself. The only strange thing is they are giving you an untracked price. That's impossible. All items of that size have tracking.
Seems like you have fallen into the trap of purchasing something without knowing the shipping costs first. If the seller doesn't have it on their listing, ask them before you purchase it.
Now that you have bought it, you will probably have to suck it up and pay, unless the seller is willing to let you back out of the trade. Take it as a lesson learned.

Managed to work out the issue. It picked up my home address (Rural) and sent that rather than my work one. Gave them my work address and it basically the price was dramatically reduced. Sorted2 -

I am interested how they are sending untracked?, as everything is tracked now, has been for years, even old Red Post bags you now need to add tracking?, same as the old orange stickers, I automatically do it, so don't know if it enforced at post shops?, I would never send anything untracked now, too easy for people to say not received,
I have seen it in description on a sellers auctions, But the way it reads they maybe are confusing Standard NZ Post Tracked with Courier Tracked?, to be honest does not make sense what they have it written, They are Intrade too, and been like that for years,

I purchased a "Stainless steel carpet stair cleaning wand" from seller – Trade Me Reference P242241223.
There was a dispute about the shipping charge, and the seller claimed they initiated a refund request, but I have not received any refund.
I paid via Afterpay, and the seller has not followed through.
Could you please assist me in confirming whether the refund was processed or help escalate this issue?Thank you,
