Fixed price offers to watchers
AnsweredTM is working to their system, and in the process has prevented me from using the FPO on several of my listings. Has anyone else had this experience? Surely TM has a back up stem to help me sell? After all SALES is what its about. I'm not listing my items as dsiplays for public viewing!

Hello Rana. Yes, everyone. This is probably one of the most frequently mentioned issues on here. The problem has been ongoing for around 7 months. While we haven't yet been given a firm timeframe for a fix there are ways you can get around it.
You mention wanting a back-up system to help you. Try using My Products. The free listing tool Trade Me provides. This will allow you to automate all your FPO and relisting requirements. It has a number of other advantages as well.

Kia Ora Rana,
Just to add to Callum's advice for you. outside of using the My Products Listing tool Casual Sellers of General Marketplace Goods have the option of a 'Make an Offer' feature on their Live Listings until such time the Reserve price is met which may help with your Sales in the interim perhaps. - This feature is on the Price & Payment page of creating a New Listing on the Desktop site. - Sellers can Accept or make a Counter offer. - This is Not available if you're Listing through the My Products tool.
Refer to Make an Offer – Help - Trade Me - Cheers.

An application would like to connect to your account
The application Tradevine by Trade Me would like the ability to:
- View your listings, watchlist and account information
- Edit your listings, watchlist and account information
- Place bids and use Buy Now on your behalf
What does this mean? is it any different to what control Trade has on my current listings?

Hello Rana. Yes, this is the standard warning when setting up My Products. Nothing to worry about.

Way over my head. When i try to import a CURRENT LSITING THE SEARCH comes UP WITH ZERO. EVEN IF I USE KEY WORDS OR THE LISITNG NUMBER.

I would just import all current listings. Tick the box and get them all imported. Once they are in My Products that's when you can work with them individually, in groups, or all at once. Don't worry. Importing them just means they are there ready for you to work with. Think of it like a spreadsheet. They don't do anything until you activate them.

That screen doesn't appear on the 'my product page"

Create a new product or Import photos & products

Rana, the screen Callum posted is when you click the Import photos & products link as below.

Then you click the link where it says you can import from your current, sold or unsold listings.

Perhaps if you post a screenshot it might help as there is no search on the import screen like you say, well not on mine.

It only gives me a prompt to create a new product or import photos

Rana, It actually says import photos & Products. This is what you want to click, then you'll get the screen I posted and then the other options.

What 2 sites do you mean? My Products is a listing tool that creates listings on Trademe only.

Kia Ora Rana,
Yes! it's the 1 & same site just an alternate way of Listing & managing your items on the same site. - It's important if you are using My Products not to try & use both ways of Listing to prevent duplicate Listings as they don't update each other therefore keep all of your Listings on My Products coming forward. - Cheers.

mY products has only imported 14 of my listings. Id selected to import all. There was supposed to be 24 altogether. How do i import the rest? I don't see how to do that. Ive tried.
In addition my listing PR 2( Blanket Chateau pure virgin wool Single bed)has been set as a 10 day sale. i never selected that .All my sales are always set as 7 days.
When my listing got "transferred" to my products. Are the watchers also part of that transfer? Or is a whole new listing?

Hello Rana. One of the advantages of My Products is that you can edit items individually, in groups, or all at once.
For example to change all products to have a duration of 7 days, you use the select all tick box, then click the Bulk Edit button. From there you can set your duration to 7 days, or even select a customised end time.
But as it is only one item, I wold just click into that and edit the end time individually on it.

All watchers are still there. Nothing changes on the original listing on Trade Me. My Products works in the background. If it helps you can think of it like Trade Me grabbing your listing from My Products and listing it for you on the Trade Me website.
You can park items in My products indefinitely. They don't expire or disappear like they do on the "live" website. If you don't want them listed at the moment, or they are out of stock, they will still be there on My Products waiting for you to activate (list) them again when you are ready to do so.
I'm not sure if you only sell one off items, or you sometimes have multiples. Even if you have similar items this is a really great feature. You can change a few things like the photo or parts of the description and list the item again without having to make a whole new listing from scratch.
